I just hope this game is longer than the previous ones. The original was awesome but rather short. The second wasn't as good and even shorter. I know the argument can be made that the side quest and the extra stuff could make the game longer but pimpin and chopping wood grow old quick. Here's hoping that 3 is better.

I hear the main story can be completed in only 8-10 hours

    Anyone else playing this?

A lot of fun IMO. Better than 2, but it still is a little buggy at times (which sucks).

I picked it up, but think I'll probably play it last of the 3 games I just got at Target.

Fable is an interesting series. It is a combination of a lot of fun and a lot of disappointment

I beat this last week. You can run through the quest and get most of the achievements over a weekend. Biggest complaint here would be it's short. Then again I guess they want you to replay it, which I may do at some point. I do like the weapons morphing feature, though I wish that you had more control over the morphing and how it worked. Road to rule is also a pretty cool system for leveling up.

I think the DLC for this is a fiasco, however. There were 3 clothing dyes witheld from the game (including black, blah), along with several hairstyles, etc. Reaver's Arena (which you actually play through in the game) is likely to be the first bolt-on you can get. Seems like a cash grab to me. If I'm going to get some DLC I want it to be additional missions and/or quests, or a completely new experience (such as Undead Nightmare for RDR).

Overall it's not a bad game and I think I like the story more than Fable II.
