The win @Jets week 17 was memorable for clinching the division. But it wasn't a statement. We knew we were better going in.

However, today we are afforded a rare opportunity.

We have a prohibitive superbowl favorite coming to our building.

We have a young and hungry team coming off an already impressive win.

IF we can move to 4-2, we will position ourselves amazingly for a stretch run.

The biggest thing about this game is the opportunity.

Arguably the number 1 team in the league, at home.

You want to be the Alpha? GO GET IT.

A WIN TODAY would be a statement win the likes of which this franchise hasn't had in sometime, and could serve as a defining moment in the Ireland/Sparano regime.

Go get that W. No excuses. No Moral Victories. A flat out W.

    Make it happen.

thing is bro, how many opportunities do you get, before you seize upon one??

Looking at the 2 loses I see no reason why they can't win today. Pull out the special teams meltdowns and they are in both games. If they have this corrected then they have no excuses not to bring in a W.

I agree. I think Pittsburgh is the toughest team in football. Which is what makes this such a great opportunity. On two previous opportunities against good teams, the Fins bent over and grabbed their damn ankles and took it. So far, all we have seen them do vs good teams is lay down like panty waste.

Now they get a chance at redemption. Only 16 games in this league. Some of them are against the Browns and the Bills. They tell you nothing (unless you lose to those losers, then it says plenty, but lets move on).

This game, along with three others (Balt, NE, NYJ) give us a chance to show (what many here seem to think already) that the Fins are better than those two ankle grabbing games. They get to show that maybe those games really were flukes.

This is the only sport I know where one game allows you to make this turn. Win this, its 25% of the way home to showing that they really can man up and not be the *****es of the leagues good team. Lose it, and many are going to come back to these boards shaking their heads saying, "yep, you guys are what I thought you were". Which is, Second Rate and not even close to being ready for prime time.

Just for you I changed it. I'm working a couple of strippers to let me take some shots of them on my bike. If I make it happen I'll let you know.

    GO PHINS!
