So you are saying it was a good throw? Just checking. Cause if you think a poor throw doesn't affect the ability to properly run a screen, then I'll just stop talking to you about it. I'm not blaming Henne for the fumble. I already said it was on Hartline. I'm just saying that Henne's throw made that screen worthless, even without the fumble.
OMG... I never once said it was a perfect throw. I said straiht away it was a bit high. But that has ZERO to do with Hartline fumbling the ball several yards downfield after he tucked it away. Now, as an FYI. I'm done with this crap. Both of you.
THey need to get Marshall in motion in the red zone to get the D off of him. ONe of the big problems I have with Henning. You know they are going to sit on Marshall all game. Then you decide to make it easy for them?
Bad throw from Henne, for those who really like the guy, why does his accuracy suck when throwing into the endzone? He rushed that throw.
I know it sucks to have to settle for another FG, but the good thing about that drive is we moved the ball. Completed some passes, gave the D a chance to get a breather. Hopefully the fact that we moved the ball through the air will maybe open up some running room if Pitt tries to play the pass a bit more. May need another successful drive from our O before that happens though.
The thing that troubles me most is this team, all year, has not been able to finish drives. Another freakin' field goal.
