This happens in EVERY crucial game Miami plays in. The opponents get a game changing BS call that let's the opponents win. We NEVER get these calls in our favor. NEVER... Give me one good reason why we should continue to watch the NFL when the games are OBVIOUSLY fixed? This is not an occasional occurence. This happens all of the fking time!!! I am seriously thinking about giving up watching the crooked NFL forever. I now see why a lot of people have quit watching.
If they go on strike then I am pretty much done ... Today was close to the last straw. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
For the past 20 years I have been a Miami Dolphins fan. I haven't missed a game in 8 years. Today is the first time in nearly 2 decades that I am truly considering not watching the NFL any more. I don't know how much longer I can support a league that allows their refs to have such control over the games and make such blatantly poor calls with no accountability.
I said I would stop after we lost to the Bills in the 1992 AFC Championship game. It didn't work.. that was seven years removed from the loss to the Niners in Palo Alto. I'll be in the box six feet under raising hell.
I tell myself that every week but once Sunday morning comes it feels like Christmas. So, no. But I definitely get where you're coming from OP. It's very, very frustrating. I don't know what it feels like to win in pro football as a fan and I'm losing hope that I ever will.
I will continue to watch, but Its gettin harder and harder for me to spend my money and support a league that holds 100% of accountability on the players and ZERo on the refs
The players will not strike, the owners will lock them out. Big difference. The players want to play, the owners won't let them. If you get mad at the players you aren't choosing to see who the real culprit is.
I stoped buying anything NFL related nor go out and support them at the sports bars anymore, I just stream the games 9 outta 10 times because of one how they dissapoint and 2 how the Refs give it away. I know one of the two are a given
I'm seriously considering this and having basketball season right around the corner will only make it easier IMO.
this team has to learn how to win these games. they are all young. but i'll be honest this is the first game that really sent me into a rage. we were robbed of a legitimate victory and it could end up costing us a playoff birth. just bull****. steelers always get the calls from refs. ask seattle and oakland. just sick of it. gotta suck it up but this year is tougher because we are so close to being so good. just frustrating as hell
i might not have a choice lol,the wife has banned me from watching dolphin football after i ripped my other computers keyboard out and threw it againts the wall breaking it and shattering a mirror and possibly breaking my right hand slamming it on the desk repeatedly.i picked the wrong day to run out of medication.she grew even angrier after i told her "it is what it is".
In my best Johnny dangerously voice. ''Is this a faaaakin# trick question? Expectations are next year...we won the game, got jibbed..take the hit..and lets get better..were gonna get 10 win's, 1 more offseason of free agents and naughty draft pick's is what its all about...were getting valuable exp. for next year.
ur gonna stop watching football due to the refs, but go on to watch basketball, where the refs are prob the worst out of every sport, and is the most fixed?
Nope, never thought about stopping to watch Dolphins football. In fact, can't understand the thought.
A good point to make would be that Refs in every sport make mistakes, but with only 16 games in football the impact of bad mistakes like this is greater than in basketball, with its 82 games, or baseball with its 160, or hockey with its seeming 10,000 games per season. You can move past a bad call in basketball during the regular season pretty quickly, but in football where the sometimes even 11-5 teams miss the playoffs, mistakes like that stand without review are a travesty.
I doubt its fixed. Ill continue watching because it makes me happy even if for a little bit of time and it gives me a reason to drink beer. Its kind of like when I found out the storylines in the porn industry movies were all fake...........
Believe me and your own eyes dude...it IS fixed. Has been for at least fifteen years or more. No more excuses for the refs.
I stopped watching after the jets. Maybe they can turn it around but another game another close loss. I've been suffering that for 30 years. The Dolphins just don't know how to consistently win. Losing 3 in a row at home in the summer months really hurts this team though. Usually that is an advantage for us.
i've been assured those storylines are real. FML. First the Dolphins lose and now I find out that pornos arent real. can it get any worse
We will get screwed by the refs in crucial games EVERY year. Do you honestly think it will ever end? Why keep watching a team that is destined to lose? We can not beat the better teams and the refs, it is impossible.
I've just become a general football fan, not a Dolphins only type lol. I don't have an issue with any team in the NFL (except the damn Jets). I enjoy watching NE play, etc. The strategic side of the game is very interesting, which is why the general football fandom (is that a word?) has come out for me.
I can't stop rooting for or watching the Dolphins. I fork out $500+ each and every damn season for Sunday Ticket, usually travel to at least one game and at the end of another disapointing season I tell my wife no more Ticket and no more spending money on the NFL. Then, after another off season, more hope, following the draft etc etc...I do it all over again. It almost makes me glad that I no longer live in FL because when I did I went to every game, spending God awful amounts of money. Oh...and... GO DOLPHINS!!!! I can't help it.....
