We got two fuggin' turnovers in the red zone in the first three minutes of the game and had had less than 10 yards with the offense. Two field goals. We scored one TD today. Pathetic. Stop crying about the call. We didn't execute.

Neither did the Steelers for much of the game. That doesn't matter when you win. I'm not crying, the call was legitimately bad. Feel free to log off if you don't like what I post. To Hell with this blame the team first BS. They did enough to win.

that wouldve been a horrible call. polite is about as effective as the wildcat lately. he barely got a first on 3rd and 1 earlier. this was 3rd an 2. that wouldve been an absolutely horrible playcall

Drop the should would have BS. It took a ridiculous play by Bess to get into the damn end zone. The Pittsburgh Steelers even with depleted on the DL are a tough SOB that has been one of the best DEFENSES FOR YEARS. It isn't that damn easy. Didn't execute. That's like asking a team to blowout the Celtics. It is ridiculously hard. It's not executing, it's going above and beyond. Managing a perfect clean game of 22 points is excellent. It could have been more, but Henning is too damn stupid for that and we another threat on offense. Henne and co did the best they could do with what they have.

You don't have to hold the damn fans accountable. You hold the team for what they can and can't do. Asking the fans to not pinpoint the blame on the refs is nonsense. It was on the refs. Are you going to tell the 2008 Giants that if some linemen on their game winning drive was called for a BS holding penalty they didn't beat the 18-0 Patriots? It's our job to hammer the refs and the league by not watching eventually.

would have been a better idea to push polite than call a play that is slow to develop. Horrible call. You pull Long and his guy gets Brown on the backside of the play. DUMB!

Right because we failed to score TD's after getting the ball off turnovers we completely deserved to get screwed on a call. I finally understand!!!

Sorry I'll dig in and say you never lose a game because of a bad call. Especially when you squander the chances we did today.

i didnt like that playcall either but polite wouldve been a worse call imo. he had no chance of getting two yds. i think brown up the middle lead by polite blocking or play action wouldve been better calls bot not polite running

 Won't change it bro. We had a big chance to get up big on a good football team early. We didn't do that. We should have taken advantage. Coach will tell you so. He knows.

You have a CHANCE to score everytime you got the ball. So if you dont score everytime you have the ball then obviously you didn't execute and dont deserve to win.

But what game is there where teams don't miss opportunities? Not that many. When you keep it close, regardless of why it was close, you shouldn't lose b/c of bad officiating. Yeah that wouldn't have mattered if they would have scored 35 points. But how is that even relevant? They have to be perfect on every drive now to expect to win in the league? The Steelers didn't have to. Are they looking at this as one of their best games?

Cool let me pop your tire on your way to work and we'll blame it on you. Oh by the way your attempt to try hard and still make it was stopped by me sending a couple UFC fighters after you to. Despite your miraculous effort to kick both of their asses you were a minute late and were fired.

The answer is in the middle. It always is.

They needed three dolphins to be on that ball.

Well, either that, or any one player from any other team in the league.

But according to Roethlisberger, he had the ball underneath the pile. Apparently he was just unable to hold on to it throughout the unraveling process.

Apparently he can magically make his hand into that of a black man. Watch out though if Roger finds out he might ban him for a full season. OOPS DID I SAY THAT? HEEE HEEEE HEEE

Face it, we got screwed. That is pretty much the season in my eyes folks.

We can't get that call, we won't get anymore along the way. They played their asses off only to have the game given away...damned shame is what it is...

Why do the Steelers get such bias calls?? It's actually becoming ridiculous I'm starting to think that they are performing lude acts on the refs.

That's true but we still could have won with competent officiating. Why do other teams get to make mistakes and win but Miami deserves to lose if they don't play a perfect game? I have questions about the coaching as well but none of that changes the fact that with proper officiating at the end we probably would have won, despite the other things.

We scored 22 points. The MOST anyone including the Titans and Ravens have scored on Pitt all year. I don't blame the O.

We got the damn ball back and could have put together a drive to kick a field goal and win. It was far from a perfect game on our end.

Who said it was perfect? It was enough to win. We should have had the ball back with the lead. That's the point. We lost b/c of that last drive. We also lost b/c we didn't score 50 points. It doesn't change the fact that the defense came up huge at the end and the refs took it all away.

I'm still confused. I just don't get it. So we challenge, Francis jumped on ball and left pile with ball. How can it be more clear cut then that? Seriously, so instead of giving us the ball the rule states that they just simply give him the ball where he fumbled?

Also, technically, we won the challenge? Why did we lose our TO?

I mean seriously, Wtf was the deal. I just don't get anything that went down on that play...

Also, Henning sucked *** today, that run call to start the last drive was the breaking point for me. Fire that *******

We didn't lose our final TO...Sparano, for some unknown reason, called a timeout before the Steelers kicked...when the clock was stopped...

Yes it should not have come down to the refs, because a good team goes up 14-0. But that call was the game.

Why not just run it on the left side instead of getting cute?

Btw, in the midst of all of this...great play by Clemons to knock it loose. The only thing that could keep the Steelers off the board on that drive, was for the D to make a BIG play. Which Clemons did, and well, you know the rest of the story...
