Every bit as disturbing is the side judge ruling TD. There is NO WAY he should have ruled a TD because he could not have seen the ball over with Ben R in possession. He was speculating it was a TD. He never saw it b/c he never could.

That line judge should be sent packing for calling a TD that was not and could not have even looked like one. He went with an "expectation." Instead of certainty.

THe other irritation with the call is that the NFL has made it clear that they want to see potential fumble plays "played out" through the end of the play. They didn't do that this time.

Whole thing was awful by the officials.

If this asshat is a homer who made a biased call, fire him.

If he simply fails to understand the scores of precedents since this format of replay was created where a fumble happened and the officials had to award the ball, fire him.

Fire him. Suspend anybody on the crew who did anything wrong on this play.

That video says to me he isn't a homer in disguise. He's a guy who ****ed up his job terribly and knows that both the Atlantic-10 where he officiates basketball and the NFL are likely to be all up his *** about this because he ****ed up badly and for the second time this season.

Go back to selling urinal cakes, *******.

Though the real art for you is constantly defending inept NFL officiating, as if you know more about it, simply because you ref high school soccer.

The NFL is really pushing the NBA in terms of crappy officiating.

THe total incompetent joke NFL officiating has become.
It's embarrassing for the league quite frankly.

Well to be fair you can certainly make the argument that they really didn't play well enough to win.
The fact is that we were about to go down and lose by more points than we ended up losing by.

    Having said that......

Although they did get driven on at the most crucial point in the game they also did force what could have been a game saving fumble. Turnovers are just as much a part of winning teams as anything else is. It was a clear turnover and a clear botch by the officials. So any Dolphin fan saying other Dolphin fans shouldn't be upset over a pivotal ref. call negating a potential game winning turnover for us is simply being absurd.

If a white jersey didn't recover it they would have called it a touchdown because the ball was loose in the endzone. We got hosed.

I'm looking forward to a work stopage about now.

Screw Vegas making money. Screw the players making money. The owners, and last but most of all, screw these Refs making bull crap calls over and over.

I got a novel idea Mr. Commish. Why don't you quit so fans of the teams you keep letting get screwed over get a fair shake? Yeah we know why. Because your in the pockets of certain owners.

In addition it's not just official calls against the PHins.

The 2 other games I watched, Seattle V. Arizona and tonights game left me shaking my head in disbelief at the zebras as well.

    They are awful.
I have to wonder what type of training they actually get because sometimes it looks like they have none.

A call in the last minutes of the Packer/Vikings game was just abysmal.

Percy Harvin catches what is called a TD in the back of the endzone with a referee RIGHT ON TOP OF THE PLAY. Literally the ref was a couple feet away staring right at the catch and he still could not see Harvins 2nd foot CLEARLY landing out of the endzone. It was overturned but still, the fact that the ref could miss the obvious, while he's looking right at the play and standing literally a couple feet away is just mindboggling.

The standards of referee performance needs to be addressed.

Ref blew the call (or screwed us on it).

But we had the ball with plenty of time to go down into field goal range and our coaches, Henne and the other players looked like total losers on the final drive.

We still should have won, but we tripped on our own nutsack when we should have driven 50 yards and kicked a field goal.

we should have tried for a first down and then kneeled to win the game, that's all we should have done.

I never understood the "should have" arguments. No offense to you BPK, and not targeting you at all, but Tim Graham said it wasn't the reason we lost. Oh it wasn't? It sure as hell looked like it was.

What if the officials spots the other team 14 points right from the beginning. Just gives it to them. And we lose 14-13. We should have scored 15, I know. But that ain't the reason we lost!

His body language in this video is pretty funny. Not funny "ha ha" but funny "I wanna shoot myself."

Funny you should mention body language. Because his body language throughout the game was that of a sleeze-bag hired off the street to fix a game.

Again, what the refs should have done was to wait before blowing the whistle, sort out the scrum on top of the football, make the right call and let the "losing" team challenge if they so desire.

The officiating ALL OVER the NFL has been terrible this year. It's not just one team, it's nearly every team. Someone, somewhere really should take a look at all the penalties/calls and tally them up team by team and see if there really is evidence of team by team bias. It'd be interesting to see which teams are near the bottom and which teams are near the top in calls that favor them.

I can almost guarantee that Indy, NE, and Pitt will be among the top of the "in favor for" list and teams like "Detroit, Buffalo, and Cleveland" will be at or near the bottom.

I agree...but it also would have been ALOT easier if they just let the play run out like they are told to do
