Moving Britt to your starting lineup for Reggie Wayne (bye week) then moving him off because of his 1 qtr suspension
ha I should have started Steve Johnson as he ended up with 21 and even Brandon Jackson got 15 who was also riding the bench this week. Didn't really matter though as I'm up 47 with both Nicks and Austin left to play tonight. Opponent has Roy Williams, Dez Bryant, and Witten so he'll get some points but should be safe. Palmer, who started for Schaub on a bye, had 28 so that helped and my kicker was Carpenter... I don't think guy I'm playing is into it too much as he had two bye week players starting, but hey I'll take a third win.
In my case, the Steelers screwed me twice. I started the D/ST and they got me all of 2 points. (sorry but you never sit the Steelers D/ST)
I got Raided. My opponent had McFadden and Zach Miller. I never stood a chance once that game started. Ironically, I benched McFadden in another league and still won.
I got raided in 1 league also. Not fun. I also benched Kenny Britt in a league which sucks cause unless Eli throws like 7 INts tonight Im going to lose but a couple of points.
im losing both my leagues this week. one opponent had roddy white the other had darren mcfadden im sure had i joined a 3rd league, my other opponent would have had kenny britt.
I'm down 5 points going into tonight's game, to the top guy (undefeated in the league). We are both over 100 so far. Ray Rice + Steven Jackson = 21 pts My opponent Knowshon Moreno = 20 pts This is one of the reasons I sometimes hate fantasy football (I've been losing on garbage time TDs a lot lately) He has Bradshaw running tonight, I have Austin Miles. Last week Miles got me 1 point.
lol I also had Britt on my bench and will likely be taking an L. I benched him for Austin, Nicks and Fitz so I don't feel horrible, esp with the bar-fight and VY out. Looks like he'll be taking Fitz's starting spot going forward though.
Nicks with another good game, got the win with 120 points. Had I started a different RB and flex could have gotten 149. Next week I'm sure I'll score about 60 and lose.
I had nicks and Romo last night, needed 38 points to win (something Britt could have done on his own). Romo has been a lock all year for 20 points. I get 22 from Nicks, 7 from Romo before he got hurt. Lose by 8. Summbitch
I got real lucky this week as i was up by 1 point in MNF and Roy Williams did not catch one ball! 5-2 so far in a 16 team league!
Mike Thomas on the bench. Yeah 11 points only, but better than a blown hamstring! My bet on Legarret Blount paid off though. Chad Henne with 6 points didn't help much.
Well I had to fly to NJ sunday morning (so that I could still watch all of the Dolphins game), but since I traveled so early on Sunday I didn't have a chance to adjust my fantasy lineups before the 1pm games. I started so many players who were on byes because of it. I lost like all but 1 of my games I think (and I was in 1st place in 2 of those leagues, including undefeated in one I believe).
Ouch! Wagon circler, Steve Johnson who was on nobody's radar in my league filled in quite well for me with 10 points. I have a ton of WRs no RBs boooo Wayne, Britt, Nicks, Knox, Steve Johnson, Mike Thomas and Gaffney who I will drop for anyone. SUcks about Britt though.
I was lucky to snag him a few weeks ago and have a pretty good trio with him, Miles Austin, and Hakeem Nicks. I needed 13 points going into tonight's game with my lone player being Matt Schaub. He came up short so I ended up losing by 4. Bad thing is my second string (Palmer) scored exactly 13 so he would have been a win or if I hadn't benched Ronnie. Blah, oh well, just happy it's only a fantasy loss this week.
