Really? I'm sure Cubs fans or Lions fans have something to talk to you about.

Silly me...you're so right! Why should I want my team to succeed? I should bask in the glow of mediocrity and be pleased with a 3-3 record. Cause anything else means you're "not a fan," right? Stop already.

Bro, listen. The Ravens got to the playoffs with a rookie QB. The Jets got to the championship game with a rookie QB. The QB excuse is old.

We have two very good running backs, an above average offensive line, arguably the best receiver in the AFC, an excellent #2 receiver, a good tight end, a powerhouse fullback, an awesome pass rusher, a pro bowl linebacker, a young and very talented secondary, a deadly kicker.....and we're 3-3?

I am a die-hard fan my friend, but I'm not a homer, nor am I looking at things through Dolphin colored glasses.

meister...we won the game..fair and square...why are you holding your young team responsible for an unprescedented mistake by the ref's..thats not fair bro.

There is something to be said for losing to quality teams record-wise. I understand the point of a moral victory after a tough loss.

There's also the fact that we still lost and are on pace for an 8-8 season. I'm pretty sure we didn't sign Dansby and Marshall A) being the playmakers that they are and B) to the $ we signed them with to go 8-8. We are theoretically aiming higher, yet at this point only achieving 1 game better than our previous season's record.

And to further my point home, what is a quality team anymore? Anyone at the beginning of the season could probably look at the Raiders and goes "ok I'll mark that one down as a win", but they piled on 59 points.

Anyone here think we can get 59?

We have to play better. We have to capitalize with TDs on turnovers and we have to do more to stop the deep ball.

Or we will finish 8-8.. or 7-9. Or worse.

What hurts the most about those losses is all are within our conference. If Miami makes a run at being a wildcard team conference losses is right after head-to-head for tiebreakers.

according to this we lost to the best 3 teams. we all know we won the steelers game and the refs blew it. And the jets game was close. there's definitely no need to panic. we're so much better than our record. if we lose to the bengals, i might think about panicking.

In addition to the Jets and Pats we still have the Ravens and Titans on the schedule. Winning against other AFC playoff contenders will help a ton, takes us one step up and the opposition one step down... beating up NFC North teams doesn't do much for the playoff and division races.

I'm okay with getting a loss from the Steelers game even if by referee disaster... what really set us back were the losses to NY and NE. If we had won either of those games we would be one game back from the division race with head-to-head advantage over whichever team we beat. Now to get the division we most likely need to win BOTH of those teams on the road AND get another win up on them from this point AND get ahead on the conference tie breaker.

Division games are huge, Dolphins had the opportunity to run away with this thing by week 4 but blew it.

But... there is still a TON of football to be played for the wild card race. Let's go Dolphins!
