Well, not here to really gloat, just maybe here to cheer you up before saying goodbye. Good game all around yesterday, and I'm not going to get into the refs, and hopefully everyone has calmed down. However, here are some general observations I came away with..... --if you told me you would run for 64 yards against my defense, I would have told you all you were nuts. --That Clamming Chowder and that Dansby dude are as good as advertised.....very impressed. --If you gave Chad a premium running back, the sky would be the limit offensively. --You guys let the heat be your friend, some of our guys were spent. --Soprano had that team jacked sky high, not sure why you folks treated the game like a Super Bowl and we did not. So, my friends of the deep sea, I say goodbye from the land of Steel and Iron. Furthermore, I would respectfully ask for you to win your next three games, then beat the crap out of the Patsies and the Airplanes, because we want home field and a first round bye. In exchange, we'll beat the crap out of them, too. I'm more tired from hearing about Dirty Sanchez and the Crop Dusters than you are.....watch us beat them down on Dec 19, 2010 from Heinz Field, 4:15 p.m. kickoff (I'm going to the game, too). And if, by some chance, you get the Wildcard, get a win, and are able to swim upstream for the Divisional game in Pittsburgh, you better bring your jackets to the 'Burgh.....it's freaking cold in January! It would be very interesting to see how Porpoises handle that kind of weather, IMO. Good luck with the rest of your season, Black and Gold
Very classy bro, thanks. You seemed at times during the week you were nothing but a troll but you came back here with class. Thanks for the well wishes and hopefully we get a chance to redeem ourselves in the playoffs.
We also want to win those games and face the Steelers in the playoffs, at home. Perhaps some of your guys will be off of IR by then?
You guys definitely have a good team. Love Hines Ward even though he killed us yesterday but thats why hes one of the elite. Keep it classy fella.
We suck, you're overconfident...Good luck against Pats (don't play stupid) and Jets (don't play conservative).
love how he learned his lesson and called us porpoises instead of fish....(in the post) still ****ed up the thread title.
And of course he didn't want to touch the ref call. He would have to say this then... "Thou hast beaten thee! Unto the porpoise I hath been handed a deathly blow... Ben hast delivered the Precious unto those of the sea and by its will hath we lost!"
The second post I've seen referencing color of jerseys and weather. What colors do you think we are forced to wear in November, December, and January while playing in New England, Buffalo, and New York? All of them being further north and arctic than that of Pittsburgh. This whole color thing must be new to you guys. We deal with it every freaking year. Welcome to the AFC East.
That's how the Dolphins treat every game...from an intensity standpoint. Unfortunately, the play calling doesn't not always reflect that.
I'm not quite sure why you would think that a professional should not play for his pay. To the contrary, I wonder why YOUR statement was not - "Mike Tomlin coaches his team to come out flat as evidence by the two turnovers in the first quarter." Somehow (in some way) that must be better in your opinion.
we beat his team fair and square...knocked the sh$# out of their qb, caused the fumble, and recovered, case closed, game over...it may not show in the number column, but we know, they know, who won the game.
