White LBs are slow and unathletic

Good thing Crowder is black he would be in deep trouble other wise makeing a comment like that.

Good lord, I saw on Twitter that for some reason Channing Crowder felt the need to point out he was kidding, and now I know why.

Yikes. It was a joke. And damn funny. I know because I opened up my Twitter app on my phone this morning, read the quote from I forget whether it was Ben Volin or Mike Berardino or someone like that, and immediately cackled.

And for the record I'm white.

If you're going to call someone an idiot, you can at least use the correct grammar. I think that was his point .

 

But it is racist if you compare the ability to read a defense and make smart decisions of a white quarterback vs a black quarterback.

In the same vain, if a white person had said this about a black person, he would be villified by the media and called a racist. But because this is a black person saying it, it is OK.

 

Crowder got his *** beat by some white dude so the only thing he can claim fame to is running, and he is not that fast himself.

 

It is in fact true. Crowder might be a tad faster but he takes some of the worst angles we've ever seen. Zach anticipated things so well, he made up for his speed. Fact.

When Zach was next to him it was Crowders job to be the muscle while Zach made the tackles though. Crowder was playing clean up and not like in baseball.

Crowders return did significantly improve the run defense this season but mostly because Dobbins has flat out sucked.

Now it is sure correct that Crowder would be faster than Thomas but to me the only way to see it is in coverages. Most of the time.

 

Right! It does not bother me one bit either.

But had that been a White player trying to be funny about a Black Qb, it would be all over ESPN and the local news.

6'3", 240 lbs, 4.54 forty - I got news for Channing. If Miami drafts this guy, then Channing won't be starting next year.

Think about it, he only had those years of experience..because he could play from Day 1, do not even try to put the cart before the horse and say he only was good because he played for so long, he only played in the first place because he was good.

Did you know Crowder was an honor student and scored a 1280 on his SAT in high school? Carried something like a 3.5 at UF. Did a 30 on the Wonderlic. Do you remember how he knew Nick Saban's playbook inside and out before the first training camp.....as a rookie?

I can agree with this. Jokes are jokes. I grew up on Jim Norton and Dave Chappelle. Jokes are jokes. If America of today got to see what racism used to be, that word would be out of their vernacular for graciousness.
