Well done defense--battled back after that really poor 1st drive. I think Tyrone Culver could've been called for PI as he impeded Ochocinco's path to the ball...I'll take it though. Now let's score a TD.
Henne could use a pair of LeBron sneakers. Still great job on recovering and keeping his eyes downfield.
This is amazing. Keep an eye on this...Cincy's LB's and S's always know where to go. Run or pass they are always right there. Are they very very fast or this offense just that slow and predictable?
Wrong again. The Wildcat offers as much downside as any other playcall in the NFL. What's it averaging again? 1 yard per play, if that? Waste of a playcall, obviously most would agree, those who don't refuse to see that Henning is terrible that is.
That was a bad throw there from Henne, unless he was throwing it away. Probably what he was doing, I doubt he'd miss that much on that one.
Fellas... We are a team who cannot do what it's built to do! A power running team who won't run on third and TWO because we can't convert two yards. Wow. What the hell is our identity??
for comparison.. the Falcons Turner and over 100 yards shortly into the third quarter last week... we can't run with any consistency... the most disappointing part to this season really...
One that tries not to make it hard on itself? They load up the LoS, you should pass, however we should begin running on those 3rd and shorts..now.
I'll be the first to say, with this much identity flux, there are no playoffsthis year. Next training camp we decide who we can be, and see an improved Henne lead us to the playoffs next year with an actual offensive identity, whatever it is.
Seriously, we've already given up 79 rushing yards, with over 5 minutes left in the second quarter still? Ouch.
Henne looks like Marino when he was wearing his leg braces. (nothing against Marino) Henne is slow, one dimensional and clumsy. There is no deception in the offense at all. This play calling is 3rd grade ****** ball. We can do so much better than this. Should we try Thiggy??
We have an offensive line who's been one of the best in pass blocking this year, and mediocre run blocking. We have a QB built to throw downfield, and not little checkdowns. We have a good group of WR's, better than our 2 RB's. Our identity is passing the ball, but until we get rid of Henning, we're going to keep on ineffectively running the ball, and calling dumb plays.
