The Patriots truly live a charmed life. Watch them pick him back up and get the 3rd round draft pick for nothing.

He needs to go back to West Va and reinvent himself. Find himself. Maybe head on down to Mexico and do some soul-searching with an old sidekick.

No way the Pats get him back. 31 other teams would have to bypass him.

I'm betting his career is over.

Nah, like Shawne Merriman he will have to pass through waivers, the Rams Alexander had to have his knee scoped, they could use him so could:

    -Browns
    -Seachickens
    -Cardinals
-pretty much every 1,2,3, win teams, even the Bills, would take a shot on him.

We probably wouldn't get him even if we wanted him, though he'd have to come onto this team knowing he'd take a backseat to Marshall. It would be nice to give him a shot, can always cut him

The Seahawks or someone like that will probably pick him up though.

I'd put in a claim. You have to, if only so that teams with better records behind you don't.

And LOL at the possibility of the Jets having to face him 3 times

Get him!!!!! Everybody- Fans, media, players, even the COACHES, knows our offense needs serious help. We say a big part of it is because we cant get our best offensive weapon involved because he is double covered, and the lack of a deep threat. Well Randy will get the attention off Marsh and blow the top off of opposing secondaries. We have the Ravens coming up this week and there is no better time than now to upgrade the dormant offense. I SAY WE JUMP ON IT FAST!!!!! What Moss can do for our offense, plus the defense, puts no doubt in my mind we can make a serious run for a playoff spot

Obviously he would be an upgrade over Hartline for the time being...however they may see him as a locker room issue.

No, how it works is every GM has been informed that Moss has been waived, they then put in a claim on him, the team with the highest position in the waiver system is awarded him.

Last yr's finishing order is no longer the way waiver claims are awarded, it has switched to this yr's record so:

    Bills
    Panthers
    Broncos
    49ers

Two teams, the Panthers and Broncos will claim him, so put down the pipe fellas not happening.

He does have to go through waivers but if a team does pick him up, they will have to pay him; I doubt any of those teams would pick him up because they are not great teams and don't have the player leadership to deal with Moss.

There are several other teams that could use him and may have the leadership already to deal with him: Chargers; Falcons.

I actually think he could be good for the Dolphins though I doubt they would take a shot at him. He would not be the man - and he has to accept that fact. But, he could be a very good #2 to Marshall.

However, Moss may well be done. Physically he simply does not run routes very hard any more and either he's too slow these days; or just too mentally lazy - which amounts to the same thing.

But, if he clears waivers he will likely go back to the Vikings and I think there's a good chance that will happen.

Dolphins have a problem scoring Touchdowns for some reason, and he might help. He still has the speed and imagine having TWO deep threats. Hartline and Fasano do some things well but have the dropsies and are not fast. So we have TWO receivers that we can confidently rely on in Marshall and Bess. [Hartline is solid for a bunch of nice catches, but he also drops a bunch, maybe it's a sophomore slump].

Though, like people have said, probably won't happen since the Fins are 4-3 which is good enough for the top half of the league.

Moss might give us a locker room problem. He probably would hate Henne as his QB

Omg I cannot wait to hear the reasoning behind this one hahhaaha the only way he makes it to us is if he refused to play for any other team. That would be extremely funny for the jets though because they would have faced him 3 times on 3 differemt teams!!

There are a host of teams that could use his services, since we are probably 16 or later in the waiver process, do not hold your breath folks.

I think he would be incredible for this team because of his famous deep routes. Think about how much that would open up our game?!?! Who do we double? Marhall or moss? Or both? Dammit what about bess!?!?

Doesn't matter. No way he makes it to them.

They're bottom 5 in waiver priority.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders claimed him. Since, you know, it worked out so well the first time :shifty:

Not any longer, it has shifted to those with the worst records first this season Vt, this came up when Shawne Merriman was going to be released if he was not traded prior to the Tuesday trade deadline.

Vikings have become a train wreck, wow, it is so gory, but I cannot stop watching them implode.

I don't know why everyone thinks those terrible teams will put in a claim for a old WR that doesn't give the best effort, and is in the last year of his contract. Teams that will put in a claim has to think Moss will help them win this year. Only teams before us I could see putting in claims would be Jaguars, Redskins, Rams and maybe 49ers
