    The only two left.

    The team in the lead.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here.

    It doesnt really matter.

What are your projections for the remainder of the playoffs?

The Rangers are a MUCH different team at home (Although the Playoffs didnt reflect that). Having Vlad still in the lineup, but having Murphy in the field is a very very fortunate thing.

I like Colbyiashi very much. I think he can get a W next game.

Tommy "Big Game" Hunter is an Alabama lineman that throws some wicked ****. If he shows up, I like our chances the first two games ALOT...and then again, talk here is that Cliff Lee might throw game 4.

Josh Hamilton is just DYING to get off...huge....

I thought that, if the Rangers had a chance, they would need to take 2 of the first 3. The Giants have a deeper rotation than Texas so it will be tough for them to string together consecutive victories. My guess is that San Fran will take it home 4 games to 2.

Merauder, I really wish you'd actually read what I wrote and the actual reasons behind it instead of thinking you're reading something that isn't there. For the last time, I am not trying to take anything away from the Giants or trying to diminish them in any way. I have no reason too since I don't even have a horse in the race. I don't care if the Giants win or lose, it doesn't matter to me at all, I won't lose a second of sleep over it. I think I made things very clear about that many many times. They're having a great season and are 2 wins away from the World Series, you should focus on that, who cares what someone on a message board is saying, they can't take a possible WS title away or make the victory any less meaningful.

Anyway if you truly don't like what I have to say, please feel free to ignore me. Unfortunately if someone says one thing that you might not want to hear or feel is negative towards your team you just freak out. I think you're getting way too worked up over nothing. I'm not even trying to be funny, I really do think you need to relax and chill out a bit because it's not healthy. Again, if you don't like what I'm saying just ignore me, it's as simple as that.

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it. Usually when people have to resort to personal attacks it's code for 'I have no point or don't have a good counter argument'. Unfortunately it looks like this is a losing battle, some people will just never get it. It's sad that if they just took to the time to actually read what I posted they'd know the reasons for the postings. Again I do appreciate you having my back.

Why don't you try explaining why you are making the points you are making? What purpose does it serve? I really would like to know your reasoning.

I'm not going to go and explain myself for the hundredth time, why I even have to explain or defend my posts is laughable. Go back and actually read what I wrote and also what posts I quoted and responded to. It doesn't get much clearer than that.

Right. Nice cop out. Everyone knows what your intentions are when you bring up all these different things about how the Giants "aren't the best team" or how they "don't have the best lineup" or whatever else you want to say. You are trying to diminish what they are in the midst of accomplishing. So let me ask you, the Red Sox have a better team than the Giants right? The Yankees obviously have a better team too. That's why they were able to put up 20 runs in two games against the Rangers. Oh wait, the Yankees only put up what, 6 runs the whole series against them? They have the better team though. They have the better hitters. On paper. I agree with you on that. Too bad that's all it is. On paper. You have to play the game. The "best teams" on paper don't always win. Do they? The "best" team can get beat by the "worst" team on paper any day. The Giants aren't the worst team though, obviously. On paper and off. They have a pretty DAMN good team. It's too bad that you don't have anything else to do with your time than try to diminish what the Giants have done. That is what you are trying to do here. I asked you a question and you can't answer it, because you know I'm right. You are a hater. Seems like a lot of Boston fans are. Bunch of arrogant, obnoxious fans. I'm done with this "argument". Enjoy yourself.

You caught me. But since it's mind numbingly difficult to talk current SanFran Giants with you, let's change settings a little bit. It's pretty clear to me the Giants have a top 5 rotation, and "poor" year aside, Timmy Lincecum is about as good as it gets. What are you hoping they do in the off-season to help sustain this run? Give me a projected rotation and lineup for the 2011 season.

Ok...I'm hoping they add another bat, I'm not sure who will be available but I really like the additions they made this season like Cody Ross and Freddy Sanchez. I hope we re-sign those guys to 5 year deals or something. Huff too. Want to see him stick around. I want Zito gone. Whether they trade him or what, he needs to be replaced. Other than that, not much needs to be tweaked.

Both of those guys are in their 30s, it probably wouldn't be wise to sign them to 5 year deals, though I understand you're point. I actually think Cody has a final year of arbitration left so, if the Giants want him, he'll be back. What are your thoughts on potentially adding Dan Uggla?

And who replaces Zito in the rotation if he gets moved?

Uggla would be a good addition. The Marlins are good at jettisoning their best players.

The guy who has replaced him this postseason, Madison Bumgarner.

    Really?

A Bosox team "Enlightening" a Gints fan on how to make a team "Good"?

Never have i EVER seen such a condescending fanbase

You idiots win a single world series in 100 years and all of a sudden you know baseball?

    Freakin ridiculous.

Good game Gints fans. The Rangers fans weren't nearly as loud, but not even close to being as obnoxious either. I can live with that.

Cobiashi was absolutely on top of his game. Looks like Tommy "Big game" Hunter and then another bout with Cliff Lee.

I dont think you will see the same Cliff Lee you saw last time...and I think the streak is about to run dry.

This one is gonna go down to the end.

Hard to tell, the Rangers bats are doing fine, so are the Giants, whose pitching steps up first? Whose bats cool off?

I'm still confused but I'll just roll with it. Haha.

Nice game tonight though. I figured things might be a little different moving from a pitchers park to a hitters park. I really hope this series goes 7 games. It would be really good for baseball since there really hasn't been an exciting WS since 2001.

You forgot that George Washington is sitting between Bush-duo.

There is NOT a better ball player in the MLB than Josh Hamilton right now.

He's cooled off at the plate some, but keep in mind, he has been playing with cracked ribs since running into the wall in Center back in August.

He didnt even flinch on that diving catch.

It amazes me that Tommy Hunter had 3 starts in the playoffs and couldn't get past the 5th inning in any of them. Why he kept getting starts is beyond me. Yet another reason why pitcher W/L stats are completely overrated as his regular season record clearly doesn't match his numbers.

It certainly looks that way. I'll be rooting hard for the Rangers tonight for a few reasons besides the fact that I hate the Giants more than any team in any sport that has ever been played on this earth (including the WNBA and XFL) but also because I think a WS going 7 games would be great for the game and most of all because I'm not ready for the season to end. Hopefully Lee brings his A game tonight and the Rangers' bats wake up.

That is what I was thinking.
I mean, here I am, D-backs faithful, saw Randy Johnson jump ship and go to the Gints, and I am pulling harder for the Rangers than anybody else in here, yet I can't hate the Gints.
To me, that's kindve like hating the Seahawks or something.
