This game is going to tell if we are for real.We win I like our chances to make the playoffs. We lose we will be 2-4 against the afc and the 4 losses will be against most likely playoff teams. You can't beat the good teams what would be the point of even making the playoffs?
I think we matchup well against this team and I expect to win.If we lose I am going to my bashing mode from the top to bottom.

Remember what Dolphins football is about... Getting your hopes up, just to crush them. We will win this weekend because he are in a get the fans hopes up cycle... The week after that... look out!

And yes. Lose this game vs. Baltimore and/or the Titans game, the Phins might finish between 7-9 and 9-7 and be home for the postseason again. Now is the time to beat a marquee team and to show the league you're to be reckoned with.

Before the season, I had this as the barometer game. I thought it would show whether or how much our offense had progressed against a defense that bullied us in the past. But now I think that the Ravens have morphed into a less physical team. They are still a good team, but I don't see it as anymore than a game against a good, AFC team. It's important for record and playoff purposes but not as the barometer of progress that I expected.

At the end of the day, we are fans of a football team. We have no control over what happens on that field. The only thing I am looking for is an entertaining team to root for. I like this team. I like their character, their fight, their grit, their physicality, their potential, their youth.

I dont know what will happen Sunday but I know I will root for them regardless the Sunday following and the Sunday following that. This team deserves that. For the first time since the Shula days I really feel like all the stars are aligning right for one hell of a three to five year run at bagging the trophy.

I'm not going to put any demands on this team. I have the choice of whether to follow them or not. I am happy with the product. They give their all and thats all I ask

I think the Steelers are a better team and we played them to a draw basically. You never know how the bounces will go or how the refs will call the game or whether one player steps or falls down and decides the game but the reality of this team is they have played every team they faced tough with the exception of New England. This team can play with anybody and now they just need some breaks, some consistency and learning how to win. We are in the home stretch of the rebuilding process and are poised to start competing for the trophy over the next few years. Its a very good time to be a Dolphins fan

Ill tell you this....and I wont back down from this statement period.

If we can put together a string of games where both the O and the D and ST plays to their capability, we are as good if not better than ANY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE.

If's are always taken with a grain of salt....but theres not one team in this league better than us. And people are noticing it as well.

We're gonna beat both the Ravens and the Titans. PUT IT ON THE BOARD.

I agree that when we fire on all cylinders I dont see a better team out there. But that is the curse of youth...inconsistency. It will all come together. I certainly hope its now because we are running out of time for this season. But if it doesnt for some reason, I take great comfort in the fact that by next season we will be a monster. Stilll rooting for this season though

We have not fired on cyclinders yet so don't get your hopes up.On the other hand if we can win the next 2 games then go on a roll against some bad teams and sneak into the playoffs we have as good a shot as anyone to go too the bowl.I do not see a team that scares me in either conference this year. The pats are 6-1 but I am not impressed with them they are very beatable.

if we win this game, i would not be shocked if we win out. this game is as vital as it gets. if we win, we leapfrog Baltimore in the standings due to having the tiebreaker over them. however, if we lose, we are 3 games back of Baltimore for the wild-card due to them having the tiebreaker over us. big big game.

This is a great way to look at it. We're not done if we lose, but if we can manage the win it sets us up great for a second half run.

Someone mentioned this as not so much of a barometer game because the Baltimore d is not as good as in the past. I'd agree with that, but would say that what it will be a barometer of is this team's ability to win a big time, crucial match up against a team with real playoff aspirations. And that's something we haven't seen much of in recent times.

Can't wait til Sunday. Its going to be exciting
