Sounds like a "Texas Two Step" to me. I have some VG friends from Texas. I always wondered why you guys were always "fixin" to do something but, never doing it. Ya know, like the Cowboys. You will see the Wild Thig this year. I cannot be sure it will be on Sunday. We're "fixin" to do it.
Over how many games? there's a huge difference between running after a broken play and running the ball when the defense is expecting u too as a possible option with in the wc. but nice way to bring up stats. I mean really you don't think the ravens D would have that snuffed out after the first few plays?
While I'm against any new wrinkle involving "Thiggy" as the lynchpin, I believe we need somthing unconventional to bring to the table come Sunday, or expect slow asphyxiation from a team thats been studying us indepth for a couple weeks. A team that prides itself on controling opponents through sound play and thorough preparation, it consequently doesn't like when things unexpected are well executed on them.
I'd love to see the Wild Thig put into play this Sunday... if only to see Stitches have to shell out $200. LMAO...
You're right on both accounts. It is not fooling anyone, then again it never has after the game that we decided to execute it. It is a drive killer this year as we don't have the right players on our roster to block for it. The strength of the unbalanced formation that we ran previously is no longer on this years roster. We don't have effective pulling guards anymore. Our offensive line is built to protect Henne and that's about it. If we intend to run the ball we need to stop looking to the right side of the line and start going to where we are the strongest and that is the left side. Forget the misdirection runs to the right... it's time to run cut-backs to the left. The left side of the line is doing a much better job of executing at this point in the season. We lost the unbalanced line that made the Wildcat possible before this season even started.
of course reed is back. injured/suspended players always come back just in time to play us. and enough with the freaking wildcat already. put it to rest dolphins, PLEASE.
Stitches has yet to confirm this bet. I have on my side but, as of now there is no wager, until I hear back from him. He may have been kidding around.
These were his rushing stats over 14 games in KC. This year, for us, he ran once for 12 yards vs the Pats. I bring up the stats only to show that he does have the ability to run, opposed to you saying that he cannot. I am not in any way saying he has breakaway speed, does not have to. Obviously he does give the WC a passing option.
