Checking in from Baltimore. Came down from Jersey for the weekend. Will be my first ever live Dolphins game and I've been a fan since I was 7 in 1993. Needless to say, I cannot sleep and probably won't get much. This town is loaded with Dolphins fans too, expect a large number of us to be there. Also, pretty sure the Dolphins are staying at the hotel across the street from me, we're only a 15 minute walk from the stadium. LET'S GO DOLPHINS!
Yeah. I was wondering wtf was going on too. I don't mind his play too much but we may have to replace him cause he can't stay on the damn field.
Dislocated his thumb last week Sick, they have to list him as something. Crowder is a tough dude, he'll be on the field, especially with the Defense playing as well as it has been, when things are going good no one wants to come off the field.
Then why is he listed as Doubtful? If there's a good chance he'll play then he should be listed as Questionable. It's weird because I hadn't heard anything about him possibly not playing all week.
i just would like to get through one week without wild mood swings and multiple heart attacks. im pulling for a blowout. win or lose. i cant take 3 1/2 hours of the same thing every week.
thank god my cell phone does it on its own. anyone who tunes into the game a 2 pm gets the douche award lol
Well the clocks go back an hour. So if someone doesn't change their clock and turns the game on at 2, it's technically only 1 so they're not missing anything.
Yah, that is all that I took out of this thing as well. Crowder has been talking shiat to mason all week long, and he's doubtful?
1) You have the injury report! Whoops, I started a thread with that. 2) Hasn't Dierdorf done a bunch of our games? This is his third, isn't it? I heard him interviewed on Finatics and he seems to like the Dolphins. 3) Hartline better do SOMETHING great. While Marshall said this week that Moss would be a great addition, Hartline (who would have lost his job to Moss) said we didn;t need him. dumb arse, Hartline. Have a great game and no one would talk about needing Moss. 4) Nationally televised game? Man, we HAVE to win one of these to get some respect back from mainstream fans. 5) Where did you hear the Sparano interview?? Awesome if he's that determined.
Yah, I agree with your 4th point to an extent. Miami won the Vikings game though, and most of the country saw that. As for the rest...yah. Lost a lot of televised games last year as well...
Curious as hell to see our offensive game plan. Teams have passed well on the Ravens, the Bills included. That said, we don't usually come out planning to throw 50+ times... though, as Sparano said this week, we HAVE done that as a plan. Question is, what will our plan be tomorrow? If the Dolphins play their metrics (and Sparano does love numbers) we should see lots of 3WR sets and ZERO Wildcat.
I'm guessing we see the same ol offense. Same thing we saw against Pitt. They still have the training wheels on Henne. And like to play conservative. Frustrating. We only see that killer instinct on offense when we are down at least a td.
I was thinking the same thing all weekend. Was the Bills success through the air a hole in the ravens D they figured out or was it a combination of poor play that day and/or bad breaks like missed tackles. I wonder how our team utilized the tape and gameplaned for offense this week. I have a feeling if we come out running between the tackles it could be a slow long day with lots of kicking. IMO to find success against the raven's d, we need to pass to set up the run, which i don't think makes logical sense in Hennings brain. Should be interesting. And we need crowder in there to limit ray rice. Poor tackling cannot be tolerated on D or we will pay the price.
both their defense and offense can be had. there shouldnt be any fear. the team has to be aggressive and not intiminidated or they let the ravens win before the game even starts
Got mine from the Ravens official website and confirmed it on http://www.nfl.com/injuries so I'm guessing it's accurate the Crowder is Probable. No way he skips a game with a thumb injury when Ray Lewis is on that field.
I think the Doubtful thing was a typo. Doubtful means he isn't playing whatsoever, unless there was a change yesterday (Sat) to Questionable. But, he's playing fellas. Guy has been in a shouting match with Mason all week!
Run between the Tackles on first down. Run between the tackles on second down. Pass on third and long (at least two wild cat plays out of 3rd and long)
