They were terrible. Dansby is very inconsistent. alot of tackles? yeah.....3/4 of them 10+ yards down the field.

Too much cushion, terrible coverage, hate to say it, but jason allen doesnt drop that interception that sean smith let slap in his stomach.......hey sean smith....you used to play WR catch with your hands idiot!!!!

Vontae Davis.....wow.....nice tackling....derrick mason is 300 years old, he gets a high screen thrown to him, he stretchs way high to catch it, vontae has a absolute kill shot, instead vontae comes to a complete stop.....and lets him ctahc the ball, plant, and make a move.....

Yerimiah bell disapeared. im done defending him.

    cam wake? your awesome

    koa misi? your awesome

Randy starks, paul soliai? good game guys. Langford too.

Our middle linebackers get blocked easily one on one. Dansby is not worth the money hes paid....no turnovers, no big plays, tackles way down field, horrible slow blitzing, bad pass coverage.

Just terrible game today. We just arent there guys.....dunno when we will be :pity:

I forget who it was with this quote but it fits our team.

"Grab grab grab nobody wants to tackle"

    Yeh....I agree....

Theres just something you cant put your finger on...I do think coaching somewhere is not getting it done. Im much more worried about out offense though..I have to tell you. I think our D is very good...we had a bad game...but our D isnt going to prevent us from the playoffs. Our offense will.

We need a new SS for sure. How did Clemmens play, just curious? Also we have no true game changer on defense. WE don't have someone who can just be a turnover machine.

Also, what happened to that swarming hard hitting D in Buffalo. Also I think we saw the value of a good RB today. I think we need one in the draft.

Clemons was average. Takes the wrong angle too many times. Bell definitely isn't cutting it opposite of him.

The D is ahead of the offense, but man we need to capitalize on the turn overs.

I thought Crowder was awful today.
I usually stick up for Sean Smith but holy hell that was a gimme.
This game reminded me a whole lot like that 95 playoff game against the Bills
We couldn't tackle jacks *** that day and ditto on this effort

1st you have to get the turnover then you can capitalize on it.

Blah, I meant when we have an opportunity to get a TO, we need to capitalize on it.

This was by far there worst game for the defense this year.

    1. Can't tackle at all
    2. Failure to adjust to Ray Rice
    3. Inability to defend the screen (for the last 3+ years)
    4. Can't come up with turnovers

I could go on, but its too depressing

To be fair on that play Clemons was blitzing so he had no help over the top. I'm okay with him playing it safe rather then going for the big hit.

defense was terrible today. 2nd bad showing all season so its not a reason to panic though. basically i just think we got beat by a better team. i think baltimore is the best team we've faced this year. they are for real. no shame in that

The bright side is we're in no danger of losing our DC to a head coaching job next year. :shifty:

If Ray Rice wasn't playing, we'd have won this game... the missed tackles vs a team coming out after the Bye... fresh... with an extra burst in their step... we were flat footed and it got worse as the game went on.

If we're going to talk about poor performances, I'd like to nominate Channing Crowder. Did he play?

The defense played terrible today. The defensive backs missed loads of tackles and it appears no one could cover Ray Rice out of the backfield. Sean Smith again drooped a sure TD interception. Davis had his worst game of the year in both tackling and pass coverage. This was by far the worst game the defense has played this season. Of course they are probably getting sick and tired of how bad the offense plays and this game certainly showed that if the defense doesn't play its best game. The Dolphins have no chance of winning a game. Because the offense certainly can not be depended on to pick up its play when the defense has an off game like it did today.
The defense has played one or two bad games this seaon. The offense has not played one outstanding game the entire season. In fact I haven't seen a quality game from the offense yet. So as bad as the defense played today. I will give them a pass
because it still comes down to scoring more points then the other team. When it comes to scoring points. The Dolphin offense is last in the entire league. So yes the defense was terrible today. But the Dolphins offense is terrible every week.

That's the part that pissed me off most. Each week I get closer and closer to feeling like it's the coaches and not the players.

    no.

ill take earl thomas, with langford, starks and soliai.

misi is more replaceable than a playmaking/ballhawk free safety for the next 10 years
