Another pathetic loss in a big game from our Miami Dolphins. Henne throwing an interception when a touchdown is needed in the 4th quarter, Henning not stretching the field or continue to feed Ronnie Brown who was having a great game. This whole team is a tired act and has been the past decade. But hey maybe next year because if they don't change how their doing things this season then it will be another "stepping stone" of a season.
I hate Dan Henning. He put Fasano in motion almost every play and then he calls play action passes in obvious passing situations. Who does he think he's fooling?
I have no idea why we were running play action passes down 13 and down 16 with under 4 mins in the game.
henne doesnt even LOOK at marshall. at all. hes gunna get pissed. and i would back him 100% if he did. henne needs to stop ****ing locking onto bess and hartline.....
With two big drops at the end, he has no right to be pissed. And Marshall generally leads the team in receptions most games. Also Mandich and Cefalo were saying during the drive where Henne threw his 2nd pick that there were no down field routes. I don't understand why in that situation you don't take chances.
We are what we are....an average team at best. No point pretending we are a playoff team. Our offense doesnt show up ever; the defense forgets what tackling is; the special teams allows big plays to happen. Championship teams arent one dimensional..
While I agree that Dan Henning sucks hes not the only reason for this lose. The Dolphins fell apart in all aspects. Again we are not a playoff team. We can't beat any above average teams.
Defense was terrible, offense was bad again and I've seen better playcalling from college teams. I'm tired of close but no cigar in every big game.
Yep. The coaches always talk about execution letting down the team. I usually think its nonsense, but today execution was a massive problem
I'm aware Destroyer I was just speaking generally over the past 10 years. I know I'm going to get some crap for this but I think it might be time to start thinking about a coaching change.
He's one of the top couple of wide receivers in targets and catches this year. You're barking up the wrong tree so bad it isn't funny.
We look like what we are....a young team with little experience and average to below average coaching. We dont make the plays we have to make to be a good team. You have to get those easy interceptions and take them to the house. You have to get in from the 1 yard line at the end of the half. You can't just let the runningback run out of the backfield and catch a pass 20 times a game when he is burning you over and over. This team is close, they are a few big plays away from having a very good record. The problem is we still find ways to lose games over and over. We for some reason just have a culture of losing. Saying we are the Miami Dolphins is about like saying we are the Detroit Lions. Just teams that find a way to lose games they should win, just a culture of being losers.
talking about this game. this game today. thanks for the awesome input though. i watch the games, i know hes targeted alot the past 7 games. just not today.....
Ronnie Brown was halfway to 100 yards at halftime... with seven carries... how many carries did he get in the second half? TWO!... I'm done with the 50/50 splits between Ronnie and Ricky... Season is halfway over... time to bump up Ronnie's carries!!
This needs to go in order for us to be successful on offense...on defense, we need better talent in the middle and secondary period.
but according to him, we're a bunch of know nothings.... must be nice to have a friend give you a high paying job with unbelievable security.
Yeah. Being an offensive coordinator is real hard work, and overthinking goal line situations on 2nd and 3rd and goal from the 1 and 2 is really hard work also. Kicking field goals and whiffing on game changing touchdowns is really working for this team. Let all the Henning defenders come out and try to defend this guy again. Where you at Henning apologists? He called a great game, didn't he? What a freaking joke.
Is it that hard to go with the hot hand at RB? When Ronnie is running great they stop running him, when Ricky is running hard, they stop running him. If it takes the entire coaching staff to get canned for Henning to go, I'm 100% all for it. Sparano has no nuts and will never lead us to the promise land. Henne knows where he's going before the play starts, and it's getting ridiculous. In the 4th Marshall made the CB whiff on the press and watched it happened, but immediately looked to the other side b/c that's where he was going all along. Henning defenders have to be kidding and I'm starting to understand why their are some serious Henne doubters. This was the worst game I've seen from him and the INT's have nothing to do with it.
They threw him the ball 8 times today. That's not an obscenely low number for a #1 receiver that a team is trying to take away and doing a good job at it.
while i agree ronnie had an amazing start to yesterdays game and should have been used more...... that was ONLY yesterday. he finally took peoples advice and stopped dancing behind the line. its what he should have been doing all season. hitting holes with momemtum and penetrating, instead of shaking nobody, hitting the hole slow and late, and going down with any contact. before the 1st 1/4 yesterday, i wanted to see ricky get more carries. if ronnie can run like that all the time, i dont mind the split. but the second he starts dancing in the back field, some one needs to smack him.
