So that fixes the rest of the team who are playing sloppy?

    That also fixes our playcalling?

You mean the 4 INTs he threw against this Balt defense? You're right-- 4 is less than 3. What was I thinking!?

Penny had the luxury of playing the weakest schedule any team in the NFL has seen in the past 10 years. INTs happen a little differently when you play s#!tty defenses and don't have to worry about insignificant things like...... oh..... I dont know...... playing from a defecit when defenses are prepared to stop the pass.

Look Jr, I was posting here when you had never heard of the place, I do not have an ax to grind vis a vis Henne, if he is your the subject of your fanboydom then hurrah for you.

His performance sucks, there is no way to sugar coat it, make it look better than it is, nothing, he should be benched if we want to win.

Quick..... how many of Penny's wins came against bottom ranked defenses in his stay here?

Easier question: How many of Penny's wins came against playoff caliber teams? :wink2:

Yes, my post is a "booyah" moment.

    Booyah!!

And for every Brees, there's 10 other Joey Harrington's who sucked early on in their careers and continued sucking until they found themselves out of football altogether.

Not really seeing the connection here.

    Playcalling?

Do tell, was the pass to Fasano a good play call?

At what point does Henne run out of excuses in your mind?

    What 5 interceptions?

    6?

Keep in mind the int by Webb was erased by a massive stand by the defense, including a blocked FG, then there was the int taken back inside the 20, then there was the Int to end the game.

He did the same thing v the pastriots, and yet, you are married to the Henne Fish, at what point do you face the facts TP?

I'd love to see Penny play the harsh schedule that Henne's faced during his tenure. He'd have his a$$ handed to him. Our FO agrees with me which is why he's NOT our starter. :wink2:

ok well you win the "I was on thephins.com forum first award"

the point is you are clearly a poor judge of talent and seem to be very irrational and lack logic in your posting

you are just like very many other irrational Henne haters that seem to think that EVERY other team has a better QB
and that EVERY back up player is better than Henne

and that only Henne makes mistakes and throws interceptions

do yourself a favor, put some money aside, save up and go get your self sunday ticket and watch the other 31 teams in this league for a while
then comeback and see if you still hold the same opinion about our young qb

I long ago passed the falling in love with a player phase, you however, have not, one's objectivism concerning him does not exist.

That is fine, that is your choice, I see it for what it is, Henne Fish should go to bench, there is no other logical, rational decision to be made.

I'm interested in winning, not in seeing Chad Fish's hand held, how about you?

I tell you what-- When Henne reaches Penny's 4 INT capability skill level, then I'll stop making excuses for him.

You see what I did there? :shifty:

    You call this an answer?!

You're completely ditching the question and avoiding giving me the facts that I asked you for to support your case, yet you're saying mine isn't an answer. :sidelol: That's a laugh.

Cmon, quit beating around the bush. Tell me the answer. How many of Penny's wins came against bottom ranked teams and defenses? How many of them came against playoff teams that had a winning record?

If you're so gung ho for Penny, then you should be able to give examples/facts supporting your argument that Penny's capable of beating these tough teams that we're playing this season.

A good OC would do his best to keep running the football and protect a young QB. It's not like we were down big when the running game all of a sudden did a big disappearing act. Henning has no idea at all about identity or the ability to maintain one. Dan Henning laid the proverbial egg today.

I guess you weren't aware but Chad Pennington's career didn't begin in 2008. He's been to the playoffs several times [surely beating playoff caliber teams along the way at some point] and has won in the playoffs. Let's just handpick things to try to prove a point and then completely ignore everything else as if it didn't exist.

It sounds like you need a shrink. Just sayin. If you've got 99 of them, and Henne's not one of them, then why are you so avid about benching him?

Do you NOT have a problem with Penny's inability to beat a playoff caliber team in his stint here?! I certainly do. At least Henne's beaten a playoff team.

Henne would be a top 10 QB right now if he played the creampuff schedule that Penny was afforded in 08.

Give me the guy who has actually been to the playoffs and has actually won playoff games. While Penny's postseason record of 2-3 or so isn't spectacular at least he gets you there. You have zero percent chance of winning a super bowl if you don't make the playoffs. So ridiculous that he gets so much heat for those Ravens games in 08. Without him that game in January doesn't even happen to begin with. That team was not ready. This team should be ready. It is definitely more talented.

everyone is interested in winning, but you think just changing qb's is the answer?
you fail to look at ANY other variable that is causing this team to lose
and that is why you are an irrational unrealistic fan

you beleive that everything begins and ends with the qb and fail to look at the big picture

I'll tellin you this right now

the dolphins aren't winning the super bowl this year!!!

there is going to be growing pains along the way but they are getting better
they have alot of young players

I guess YOU weren't aware that his career in MIAMI did begin in 2008. I don't give a crap what he did in the past or in his PRIME. I care about what he's done lately. Maybe we should bring Marino back; I guess you weren't aware of what he did in 1984. :glare:

    This is pathetic. Really!

Was NY in year 3 of rebuilding mode with the youngest starting team in the NFL when Penny went to the playoffs.

"WITHOUT HIM"? Cmon now. You're giving him credit for us barely beating the worst teams in the league in 08 while not being able to defeat a quality team w/o the help of the Wildcat?

Bickeybam, where are you buddy. We need ya here! LOL.

What he did with the Jets is just as relevant as what he did two years ago. It's all in the past, you can't just handpick what you think is relevant. This Miami team is not the same as it was in 2008. You care about handpicking what makes your argument the best. That's what you care about. Comparing things in the past decade to 1984 is laughable to say the least.

Chad Pennington sucks b/c he didn't win every playoff game he was in. Comparing what he did in the past five to six years is like saying we should bring Marino back!

His first yr he also led the Ravens to the AFC title game.

    Gish, in 16 starts!

Henne is in start 22 or so, and has not come close to sniffing the playoffs, not once, he choked us out of them.

Padre, you still haven't answered my question as to how you develop a QB in a 20-yard box offense.

Since when has Henne "choked" us out of the playoffs? We're currently 4-4 with 8 games to play. Let's be real.

Well the season is certainly over without him so what is there to lose? I don't think I will give it a rest actually. This team needs a spark b/c they're not getting it done. I do not support the Miami Dolphins losing to protect Chad Henne's self esteem. If there is even a small chance that Penny can give them a better chance of winning then he should be under center.

yea, about the baltimore defense. its not like they've been any good for the last.....10+ years

c'mon man, just stop with the blatant hate for no reason

but I see through you man....you are the epitome of a "the grass is greener on the other side" type fans

everyone else is perfect and everyone we got sucks

we can put in Thigpen, put in Pennington... but the results wouldn't be any different
and I would guess that they would be even worse
