only if they cancel the season. then i claim the super bowl for the dolphins  seriously though, i do think we win one in the next three years. the foundation of this team is rock solid. we can now start drafting BPAs instead of drafting for need.

As I already told you before.

    DO WHATEVER YOU WANT.

It's a free country, so you're free to self-aggrandize yourself as much as you'd like.

You just don't get it. Last year was Henne's FIRST YEAR STARTING IN THE NFL. Pennington was an 8 year pro. You make it a big point to say that Pennington has played in the playoffs and Henne hasn't. Guess what? This is Chad Henne's 2ND SEASON AS A STARTING QUARTERBACK!!, and it's still possible to make the playoffs. Whatever happened to patience?

And imagine if the Chargers didn't give up on Brees after the 03 season. I guarantee that it would be Brees hooking up with Larry Fitz instead of using the pick on Rivers....... Fitz, Jackson, Gates, and LT? Holy crap!! Who's stopping that offense?!

I don't think we're there yet. We still have major needs at FS, TE, and a running back to compliment Ronnie Brown next season.

Upgrading over Bell, Crowder, Incognito, and Hartline wouldn't hurt, but those needs are more important.

Thank God. It's about time we get to look forward to that.... even though it might be one more draft away. lol.

If he's back next year, I hope it's a back that Ronnie can compliment.

You're 37. Grow up. There's only room for 1 immature 35+ year old on here, and that's me. :wink2:

i put our needs at TE, RB, C, OG, speed WR. We can get two or three of those in free agency which leaves us two or three in the draft. FS I'm fine with right now but not against upgrading if there is great value somewhere

Still these arent the type of needs that are the ones we had when John Beck was our starting QB or Gibril Wilson was our starting FS. Those were needs

If we can Franchise Tag Ronnie, he should be back.

He compliments Ronnie, Ronnie compliments him, same thing. Just find a running back with speed like Jamaal Charles.

I disagree Adam. IMO, we NEED a ball hawk at FS. Chris Clemons just isn't getting it done. He's not getting burned like Gibril was, but he's not Earl Thomas either, and that's what we need.

If I had to put our needs in order, they would be FS, TE that can stretch the field, a number 2 wide receiver with speed, a running back with speed, and a LG. You can put Center, Inside Linebacker, Strong Safety and another nickel corner on that list, too, but they're not really pressing needs. We can live with those players there. But the 5 positions I mentioned, imo, need upgrades. Time to get a ball hawk and some speed on offense.

we generally agree. maybe we just disagree on the order. still you have to admit its better looking to upgrade an average player than having to upgrade over a player that flat out sucks.

Definitely. The days of upgrading over horrible starters are gone. One more off season, and we're there.
