I saw on twitter a bunch of people reacting, saying he better be saving money, cause hes gunna get fined however, i didnt see the hit..was it bad?
I don't think it was as bad as Meriweathers but he got Roy Williams pretty good. Hit him in the back and side of the head.
He clearly ducks his helmet so it hits Roy's. He will be getting a bill from the league offices for that one, and possibly be sitting out next week.
lol yeh yeh he was. Any defender that leaves his feet and launches himself head first at someone has malicious intent.
He was just trying to make a play. It wasnt like he was trying to hurt him or anything. Defend the cowboys all you want but we just beat them 45-7.
I hate both teams bro I am not defending either. But I know for a fact that he was trying to hurt him because all defenders hit guys with intent to hurt them.
Nobody ever said anything when the Saints were cheap shotting Favre in the NFC title game last year. I enjoyed it when they were hitting him but nobody ever said anything but when the packers do it everyone starts whining and crying.
They were not legal and the NFL even admitted it. NFL: Crucial hit on Brett Favre during NFC Championship Game should've been flagged - ESPN Of course everyone hates us so its ok when another team does it.
I actually like the pack but that was the definition of a cheap shot IMO. Wr doesn't have the ball, defensive back lowers his head and trys to lay into him? He might not have meant the helmet to helmet but he at the least intended to get in a quick shot.
You actually think people are anti Packers here? Why would we have any reason for that? If anything I like them a little.
If your not a packers or cowboys fan then you usually hate them. I think most people hate us that arent packer fans and usually never root for us unless were playing NE or Dallas then they root for a tie maybe.
No, not really. The packers aren't the Raiders or Cowboys. Those are teams everyone hates, not Green bay. As for the hit, total cheap shot. Williams clearly did not have the ball, yet he lowered his head anyway and hit him.
packers are and have always been one of my favorite nfl teams. love the passion of the fans, the frozen taundra, and the history. But bro....this hit was illegal, he leads with his helmet, i dont think he was trying to HURT roy williams. But....he hit him illegally with the crown of his helmet, to roys helmet. thats illegal. he needs to lead with his shoulder pad.....he would pop him even harder! Leading with his helmet can injury him AND roy....just stupid.
How come nobody mentions the eagles doing it to Collie and knocking him out cold. That is cause nobody hates Philly but if GB does it then it's a crime. Like I said nobody outside of GB likes us. I know you Miami fans dont like us and thats fine. You beat us this year. I know in reality you wanted the Jets to beat us last weekend.
Nah I think that's more Cowboys, Raiders, or Patriots...and more recently the Jets. Packers have a good coach, good organization, and a top 5 QB who says and does the right things. What's there to hate? Saying someone made a dirty hit in their opinion had nothing to do with the green and yellow that player was wearing.
i have really enjoyed you posting here, but this is insane. The hit on collie was different...collie caught the ball and ducked into the already flying through the air defender. collins had time to make the decision to hit williams, lead with his head and absolutley cleaned his clock. and believe me, there is NO team we EVER want the jets to beat. especially a random nfc north team that has no barring on the dolphins season.... its cool being the unliked and hated team in the nfl. but the packers are far from it. if anything, your post is way wrong, cause most people despise philly fans! So why would people not be saying anything about that? besides, there is already a thread on the collie hit
Miami fans root for the Jets? HA! I would never root for the Jets in anything. I can't stand the Cowgirls either man. In fact the Packers are probably my favorite NFC team. I don't think you'll find any Fins fans who like Jets or Cowgirls around here.
Anyone remember when Rodgers got facemasked which caused the fumble that lost the cardinals game in the playoffs last season. Of course no call. Oh well we got redemption this year in the first Vikings game.
miami fans never root for the jets. you might find some that don't have a problem with the cowgurls but given our history I doubt that many.
I'm actually a huge fan of your D. Matthews is rapidly becoming one of if not the best DE in the league. Woodson has always been one of the best corners in the league. As for Rodgers, its hard to root against him he seems like a classy guy. The difference between the Collie hit and the Williams hit is Collie ducked and balled up and put himself in Pattersons range of his helmet when he was trying to tackle him with his shoulder. As Sick said before Collins led with his helmet and was aiming with it as well.
First off let me start by saying that that I'm a Packers fan and I don't condone Collins' hit mostly for a reason that I think has been overlooked; the hit wasn't necessary. He was putting a second hit on Williams. He shouldn't have left his feet and he should never have lead with his helmet. He happened to put an illegal hit on during Sunday Night (big spotlight) during a game that was pretty well one sided In a time that they are specifically trying to cut out that exact situation for obvious reasons. I think a lot of the problem stems from people feeling to safe under their helmets so they use them as a weapon putting them selves and other players in serious harms way. I'm not against big hits, I'm against wreak less and dangerous hits. You don't have to kill some to put the fear in them, I think this was proved later in the game when a ball carrier was running up the side lines and given a legal hit that sent him flying and made him think twice bout trying to run up the sideline on us. Peace for now, Seacrest out!!!
