Love it, if there is one thing I think the SparanoPhins lack it is swagger, they seem happy to be the over achieving younger sister so it is good that SOMEONE steps up and takes ownership of this season.

We'll see, we have no nature matchup advantages against the Titans, the players are all going to have to step up to win it.

While I hate stuff like this in general (the guy making the guarantee typically comes off like an idiot) I appreciate his passion and at least somebody on the team is showing a little fight/guts.

    I wish I believed him.

Crowder needs to make more plays then he can predict whatever he wants to predict..:D

So many times with the SparanoPhins they win, or lose, and no one says anything much at all, so right or wrong, it is good to see someone finally stepping up and saying "this season's performance is on me".

Crowder saying screw you if you don't think..is not the same as "we will make the playoffs, we will make the plays we need to".

I like how no one is discussing this comment.

It really speaks volumes about Marshall IMO. He could have easily thrown Henne under the bus like T.O., but he didn't.

These guys have a shot to roll off some wins, I always said on here in previous posts if they come out of the first 9 weeks at 4-4, they will be okay, and in contention for the Division.....they have winnable games the next 3 weeks, and if they do they sit at 7-4 I will take that.....

however playing the way they have been, they wont...then again...Tenn, Chi-Bears, and Oak isnt exactly GB, Pitt, and Balt

Pitch count goes up for ronnie brown in 2nd half of season..

Need a return of the wildcat..

Need a pissed off defense..and our cordinator needs to find ways for the opponent to punt the football.looks as if Cam Cameron whipped his *** with misdirection.

Marshall isn't that kind of a player.

He never bad-mouthed Cutler after some of those terrible performances, IIRC.

He also doesn't look like an attention-craving douchebag.

Glad to see someone man up and show they have a pair. Most of the posters on this board could learn a thing or two from BMarsh.

We're at the halfway point. This team can be better, and if not they're going to go down swinging. Have some pride!

Someone brought up to me Brandon Marshall's dejected statement after the Baltimore game about how we really can't beat the good teams and they were saying that's not a good sign. I replied to them you just don't know Brandon Marshall very well. He hates losing. You'll hear something like this from him on a Monday, and by Wednesday he'll be guaranteeing we make the playoffs.

    He's a day early.

Here is what I don't "get", what is the harm in a professional football player speaking up and actually entertaining "us" fans?

Why are the SparanoPhins like the mousy girl in history class, off in the corner, don't notice me..?

Talk some smack Beast, add some juice to the mix.:hi5:

He's trying to be a leader.

Ricky Williams seemed concerned that some players aren't buying into Sparano's program. That interview where people are complaining about lack of audibles (which isn't a big deal to me)...he said as an example what'll happen is they lose a game, and so Sparano will be extra tough on them, work them like dogs all week, they'll put in the preparation and then they win. Then the next week, they don't have an appreciation for the fact that they won because they put their nose to the grindstone and worked like crazy in that tense atmosphere. He said it's human nature and Sparano does as much as he can to prevent complacency but evidently he sees it.

    Nobody said that.

I just don't think Crowder talks smack very well, at all. He says some funny off-topic **** here and there, but a good smack talker he is not.

Going after Mason last week bc he's old is a good example. Mason is a decade older and still a better player at his position than Crowder is, imo.

After Opening Day, I'd argue that this is the mort important stretch of games this year, if we take 2 games, in 5 days, we are back in the playoff mix and even the AFCE mix, if Henne has anything this is a good time to show it.:wink2:

Which was the larger story of the interview imo, but I think winning and getting the offense on track would salve over the rough areas.

Beast said he has never seen so many double teams in his entire career, that means Hartline has to take his game up even further than 200 yds in 2 weeks.

Which is what Beast is predicting imo.

He didn't go after mason. He took a small shot at him, that was blown way out of proportion. I agree crowder isn't a great **** talker or always funny, but I think the smack talk is overstated by people here.

At this point, I don’t know who on the team wouldn’t be buying into the program. Dansby and Marshall sure as hell do. The offensive line does. So who’s being complacent?

    Crowder?

makes a lot of sense this post....

Something I wrote in another thread..

'' Maybe the game in baltimore didn't have any sense of urgency because of the fact that we knew we had 2 games coming up so quickly..Maybe human nature came into affect and there was a let down....

I think when you have 3 games in 11 days you have to pace yourself somewhat to come out ahead no?...

Plus, they know they have to win these two home games in a row to get their fan's back...maybe the subconscious played tricks on their mind in baltimore.

    IDK, just thinking out loud..

It's probably going to take seven out of the last eight to guarantee a spot and that one loss needs to preferrably be to one of the NFC teams.

He didn't go after Mason for being old. He said Mason was a good player. Then Mason got sand in his vagina and made a big deal out of nothing. For a football player Mason is old. he is practically ancient.
