Dude, we're 2-2 and 1-2 in the division, with an 0-2 record at home. 7-9 seems about right considering how brutal our schedule is.

Yeah, and Miami hasn't won a playoff game in a decade. But, I guess you're ok with that because you're a "big picture" kinda guy.

Man, do I hope you're right.

And I can speak with absolute certainty that their was a lot of overreacting amongst the fans in the 80s

Based on what I've seen and the upcoming schedule.

We beat the Bills and a banged up Minnesota team (who's 1-3 and were totally dominated in the 2 games they played against good teams). Just about everyone of our next 6 games is against tougher opponents than the 2 we have beaten.

So please, if you have a more optimistic prediction and a basis for it then let's have it.

I have little faith left in the coaching staff. I know they can field teams that won't at least be a complete joke but they clearly have no killer instinct. It shows in their team. They don't have the guts to try to be good enough to win a championship. What a shame. In 2008 with no expectations they let it all hang out with the Wildcat. Once some expectations come around they crawl into a shell.

You can you think of 15 teams taht would beat us at a neutral site? Because I can only think of about 7-8.

We can't even win a game at home, what makes you think we can beat anybody on a neutral site?

Pats, Jets, Steelers, Ravens, Titans, Texans, Colts, Chiefs, Oakland (laugh if you must, but they'll beat us in a few weeks), Eagles, Giants, Saints, Falcons, and Bucs. That's 14 teams I think would beat us if we played them, either at home or at a neutral site. I'll even throw in a 50/50 shot at beating the Browns and Jags.

This should not be the case in the 3rd year of a Parcells regime, we should have a better team by now. Seems Bill saved his ****tiest work for his encore.

Parcells is a no talent POS. That's for sure. Trading or cutting all decent players who weren't his pick so he can bring in trash that he drafted other places. What an idiot.

Yeah, we've lost games to the four best teams in the NFL, and that means we aren't as good as the fukking Texans. Get a clue.

The Miami Dolphins are 0-5 all time against the Texans. Do you seriously think that this is the year we'd finially be able to win a game against them?

Please, give me strength. This team, the 10' Dolphins, are the ones to finially beat the Texans? I don't think so. We barely beat Buffalo, yet we're somehow able to beat a team with the talent Texas has? Nope.

As far as making yourself feel better by repeating that we've lost to the 4 best teams in the NFL, that's a bunch of mularky. That doesn't make anything better. Great, we have a team that can beat weak teams, but can't beat good teams. Awesome, we are a mediocre team that has no shot of beating good teams in the playoffs.

Considering this Texans team is appreciably worse than anything they've had the past few years, yes.

I don't need to make myself feel better. I'm not the one throwing a tantrum on the internet.

Ahaha, you think the Phins can beat the Texans, yet you put a link in your post, for me, for depression medication.

Keep on truckin, man. Someday you'll find sanity.

Nothing to be scared of this year. They can't protect the QB, and Schaub's eye level has been consistently low.

Which is why we lost the Steelers game, Big Bens eye level was consistently high. :wink2:

Yes, well Matt Schaub doesn't really have the ability to look downfield with defenders draped on him.

    Ironically, a higher % of Chad Henne's passes are > 15yds than Matt Schaub's.

Yeah, it's easy to build a football team with a losing record 2 years in a row. What an arrogant prick.

    Any predictions for this year?

Still think Parcells built a team that wasn't mediocre?
