http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sfl-chad-pennington-hurt-1114,0,4823557.story Well, Romo rose in Dallas by a similar twist of fate. Adamp..'nuff said
Well now what do we do about a backup QB if Henne is done??? We cant have only Thigpen. Use Marshall and Ronnie or Find Culpepper in the UFL? haha
This sucks...not so much because of what we've lost but because we don't have anyone decent to back up Thiggy.
if henne dislocated his patella (knee cap) thats nothing if there was no additional damage such as fracture or patella tendon or such. i'm worried about his mcl (medial collateral ligament) from the looks of the pressure applied, maybe even anterior cruciate but i'd say mcl, thats a big problem if torn or partially torn. also can have meniscus or accompanying damage, could even have a tibial plateau fracture which is a big problem also,,, non weight bearing for a while..... penny i think is a career ender which is sad
Kneecap pushed to the side? That sounds disgusting. On a side note, since the season itself has been a total roller coaster ride it looks like each game will be one now too! Inconsistent meets Inconsistent when Thigpen starts for the Dolphins.
This is where Irish earns his pay, I ahve every confidence in him. This Capo Regime reminds of the guy who spends hours and hours in the gym and spars and spars but they won't get busy until they have to get busy...the more they think the more the turn off their own options.
I guess, if nothing else, the 'which quarterback should be starting' debate will be much more simplified.
This sucks on so many levels. Finding out what you have in Henne (although many have passed judgment), what happens if Thigpen goes down, more than likely another step back at the QB position. I would expect that Thigpen will look good his 1st few games as there is no tape of him with this team. Hopefully that equates to confidence from the O side & lots of wins.
Honestly at this point I'm not too upset. Who the hell out there that isn't 40 that's worth anything? Him going to Oakland in two weeks is a pretty hilarious scenario though. :P
awesome...now if things don't work out with Thigpen, you'll have someone new to root for that's not Henne, Padre.
Last time I felt this crazy about the season and its direction was back in 1993...I cant be the only one that is old enough to remember STEVE DEBERG starting for us since our QBs were going down that season too LOL
I just prefer to say: My name is.........................THGGGPENNNN http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6nvrYopHV8&NR=1
As sad as it is, Jamarcus Russell was the first guy I thought of when I heard Pennington and Henne both will probably miss the rest of the year.
Welp, here's your chance to go into the offseason without questions at QB. Good luck Thigpen.. get us to the playoffs
with jamarcus you just need a light to go on and have him work his *** off. more than likely however the lightbulbs are smashed. who knows. i would love to hear the interview though
Fellas I know most will disagree with me, but this is one of the best things that could have happened, Sparano and Henning are such tight asses that it was going to take extraordinary circumstances to force them to change. And here we are..
What a disappointment the injuries to Pennington and Henne are... but really, do we really need to pile on like this? JaMarcus Russell? Seriously... ugh.
not russell, please miami. Lets get either culpepper or garcia from the UFL to be thigs backup and then find some young gun off of a practice squad to be third.
by far one of the most ridiculous statements I've read on here today Padre...seriously, it's the best thing for the team to lose our top two QB's?...Your Henne hatred is clouding your thought process on this one bro.
Crazy huh Pod.... You were right on the 28 points but who would have ever thought it would have happened the way it did.
