Just finished reading thru the game thread...

I wish we all would try to do our best to look at our team and analyze them fair and square when making projection's on peoples livelihood.

This team pissed on some of the unjust negativity they have received this year...

Starting off with our head coach..The man has a 23 and 19 record coming off one of the biggest rebuilding efforts ever not for an expansion team..

He outcoached Jeff Fisher today..A few weeks ago I wrote a thread about him and how I thought he should be resigned to be our coach..Iam convinced he is our future.
The comments about our coach in the game thread were disheartening.. some blantantly calling for his job was wrong imo..I hope some of our respected members give him an apology..Imo, he didn't deserve the criticism.

I thought Chad Henne played a nice football game today, However, you wouldn't of known that reading thru that thread..You could tell, in one Sparano lead benching, that the man is still learning how to bring his emotion to the field and to his player's.There was a conscious effort on his part to do so today..I believe Henne became a better QB today..The spark benching was valid imo.

He was finding a very nice rhythm before he got hurt, I felt like he had control of the game. He was really followiing thru on his throw's..... such a great arm..

I believe the titan's would of been blown out today If Pennington plays this game..did you feel that energy?, did you see that conscious effort By Henne to step up in that Dept."..The message was sent loud and clear by Coach, even if it was for only a few play's..

A few of us talked this week about our confidence and intrigue with Thigpen... he did not dissapoint..I look forward to watching him play QB for us..Hes getting his audition for the future, lets watch him closely, and hopefully fairly.

A secret of mine is that ive always wanted a running QB..LOL..This cat seemingly can do both...Lets see what we got on thursday..A full game of data against a good defense..T-Squared.

I could of swore I saw Chad P protecting his left shoulder while walking off the field..He was lifting his left forearm up by his waist.

How bout that wildcat baby:yes:...never should of went anywhere in the first place..starting to think its benching has more to do with protecting Henne's rhythm than anything else. The Ronnie brown Jet sweep is back..Iam glad our coach does not listen to the majority of fans when it comes to the formation...Good Job Coach.

Now whats interesting is how it will be used with Thig..

All this stuff, the adversity thats happening to us, is benefiting us and hardening us for next year's run..

Man our secondary played lights out today...Sean Smith is ballin ya'll, you see that one play where he came up on the edge of the LOS and got in on the tackle? it was a mentality thing that was impressive.

Holy Sh$# man..SS24 has played as well as VD21 recently, some like CK would even say better...That is incredible for our future.

How bout the rook RS20...holy double sh$# batman...him, clemons, smith, and vontae..Talk about a young talented secondary..

Man do I hate the Jet's.

Iam going to have Devin hester nightmares tonight..lol...I would squib kick kickoffs, and punt out of bounds.

I cant believe CP10 didn't get his comeback story..man, what a cruel sport..I swear man, he was holding his left shoulder no?..

Dansby played well, Channing did not have a solo tackle today..

I thought there was a good turnout by our fans today, considering all the adversity..

This team fought the titans today, and bad luck...and still kicked their ***. Lets hope for once, we get some good luck 2maro on the injury report.

    Great win ya'll..

Well Deej, if some of the things I think have happened, happened, in the words of Agent Smith:

"they are not out of the Matrix..yet.."

Ireland has a heavy job, both Qb's will miss Thursday, we need to find instant Depth and pronto.

Wake was winged Bro, Irish and Sparano and Nolan have 96 hours to find some players who are ready to step up by 8:20 Thursday Evening.

Which for me, is like crack, I really wish to see whom Irish digs up.

We all rightly thought last Tuesday was momentus, nah, Penny and Henne are out, Big Jake is nicked, and Wake is dinged, the stakes only have grown higher as both the Pasties and Jests won.

Don't be surprised if Misi plays the Will, and Q or Ike play the Sam this thursday...

Great game.out of all the wins this year, this one was the most fun. Tenn. has one of the best defense's in the NFL. Coming into this game they had 26 sacks in 8 games, a 3+ average per game, we held them to one. Was it pretty at times ? no. Penny and Henne getting hurt sucked but know what ? When Henne got in there he did a pretty decent job and forget about Thigpen, Thiggy for Pres !!!!

Anyway, like I said, at times not pretty, at all times, a very rough game in the trenches, roughest so far this year. Great game, even better win. I do realize one thing now, it could be a perfect game and some would find things to ***** at.

The thing that bothers me about TS is that he has basically been a .500 coach for the last season and a half. Not what I want from my head coach.

What energy? the guy was in the game for what two plays?

I think with the exception of Sapp the secondary has played very well at times. VD's play the last couple weeks is bothersome to say the least but it is nice to see Smith play well. As well as Jones come out of nowhere to make some plays for them.

I think this team has a lot of holes but one that looks like it is going to be taken care of is the safety position. Would be nice if we could fill out the LB corps (well the MLB spot), TE and we have to fix the OL.

I really thought Chad Henne grew today. I saw him playing with something to prove. I saw him play without fear. I saw him take a step in being a leader. He took chances downfield all game and made some really strong throws. That TD pass to Cobbs was a thing of beauty, and his INT is one of the kinds I don't mind...heaving deep trying to make a play. Sucks he got hurt. I really hope it's not as bad as initially thought and he can keep playing. I really think that benching was just what he needed.

Exactly, I loved the fact Henne was pushing the ball downfield, then hitting the over the middle stuff.

I also like the fact that Henne will realize, if he hasn't already, that he should give Fasano a bit of a smack down for getting on Henne for throwing him the ball on the hot read.

I think Henne made a good decision, also think other receivers were open downfield, but still Henne has to be the boss..no exceptions

Yeah I don't understand what that was all about. Fasano was PISSED at Henne and I don't think it was warranted. Henne was pressured and kind of threw it towards Fasano who wasn't even open and he started screaming. I thought that was weird. Wasn't like he was wide open.

Sorry Roz, if you didn't feel the energy change, I cant show it to you, its energy, lol.

Coach is 22 and 18...that's not average from what he was given..you seem to not take that into account at all, which is something I cant understand on your part.

Dunno how Ikaika looked as Q was filling in for Wake and I kept an eye on how he was doing.

BTW, Deej, is there any greater mystery player than Clemons?

CJ, al 6'0 180 pds of him drug CC into the endzone, then CC lit up Moss and broke up a reception?

Then he leaves with a knee tweak and Reshad Jones plays Troy flippin' P in replacement?

Sack, Int, PD, in three plays, dude was a beast,

that is what makes this team so hard to figure or predict, heading into sunday sure bets were:

    Chad Pennington:lasted two plays
Cam Wake: nicked tipped a pass, that was about it.

And yet we kicked the Titans *** on the back of Pat Cobbs and Reshad Jones?

VD21 SS24...our young talented tandem were excellent today.

Chris clemons is just a high hitter..gets him in trouble, plus he's just a thin framed safety..

Looks like maybe, just maybe, your boy Irish might of landed somethin nice in the 5th, R jones sure did flash in his first real game action...goodness...I love youth.

I dont think our tem was mentally ready to play last week...I think Coach had to bench Henne, when said and done, the inconsistent behavior patterns were prolly the season.

good post DJ. I think today we saw for the first time what happens when the entire team plays well. Its the first time all season that all three units (offense, defense, special teams) had passing grades and you saw the talent shine. I was never worried about this team, from the QB to the coaches (the oline's run blocking is about it). We are a young team, many here there first year and to think we wouldnt be up and down early was wishful thinking. That is not the coaches fault, that is the price of having a young team. Me and you both understood that next year was when we would really compete and that this year was really nothing more than a practice run for the big prize to come. I'm really getting excited about the foundation that has been laid and can't wait to see what new pieces we add in the offseason. And who knows, if Henne comes back and Jake and Wake arent serious injuries we might make a run at the playoffs. Would love for our young players to get a feel for playoff atmosphere so they are ready for it next year

blame DJ and the fans. The great Dolphin in the ocean is upset by the wolf howl thing. We have angered the gods. we have angered the fin. we have prayed to false idols. we must repent and go back to our dolphins roots. no more land animals as mascots. The fin has spoken. click, click, whistle, whistle, click

Home teams have a huge advantage on Thursday Night games Deej.

And the injury situation has me excited, this is the sort of situation where Jeff Ireland excels, he will find some guys.

My one worry is the Bears Cover 2, they vacuum up tipped and overthrown passes, that is one of Thiggy's weaknesses.

Termination Tuesday is about to turn into "Help Wanted" Tuesday..:D

Exactly Irish claims to watch film on players all of the time well then, let us see what the Secret Squirrel finds out there in less than 3 days to prepare.

They landed Al Harris, a signing that was more or less panned, and Harris was Beasting Sunday, in less than 4 days of practice.

THAT is what I find intriguing.

you must be kidding right ? did you check the names on the roster of that 1-15 team ??? did you have any idea what it means to turn around a 1-15 football team, not the players but the coaches as well, so VD´s play is bothersome based on what ? because he gave up some plays to guys who also get paid to play this game ?

Reshad Jones best 4 plays in a row on defense in NFL History ? LOL , honestly on play 1 almost a pick at the sideline, 2nd play covering Moss in the endzone, 3rd play....sack, boy did that young guy go DOWN and last but not least the pick on the 4th play, incredible

There was also the PI call he got after playing patty cake with Moss, on a ball he could have easily turned around, saw, and possibly picked off.

Not saying Vontae is bad, I think he's a great player, just in a slump. Hopefully he can pull himself out of it for the Bears.

Right, I'm just saying he has played two bad games in a row, he was not excellent yesterday like some are talking about.
Maybe he was ready the paper to much about how good he was.

He needs to step it up Thursday.
