Patriots v Steelers, the Steelers are heavily favored Steelers are missing both tackles, the Patriots are lacking a edge rusher of any note, and Brady has a bad foot. Jets vs Browns: Fellas, I'm taking the Brownies again this week, at home, with a personal angle in the Rex Ryan vs Rob Ryan, and a healthy Peyton Hillis, I think the Brownies take this one in a low scoring affair. Especially if it is a cold and windy day in Cleveland. Not yet for the Bills, wait until it gets really cold, and at home, then they get off of the snide.
After Cleveland just beat the Saints and the Pats back to back, it not too far of a stretch to say they will beat the Jets, who have played poor football dating back to the Denver game. How did Miami fare in the simulations? EDIT: Just saw the Jets were 3 point road favorites. Wow. I'd take the Brownies if I were betting.
Do not know what the titans v dolphins game looks like, I'd imagine the Qb switch has thrown a monkey wrench into their simulations. As for Jets being 3 pt favorites, I'd look at the weather in Cleveland, if it is say, 30ish, 10 mph wind off of the lake, have to like the Brownies at home as the deep ball won't be there for Sanchez, or should not be. Add in, if Peyton Hillis is 100% you will be in for a real show, that dude is a freakin' Beast! I watched him hurdle a defender, and the dude was more or less straight up and down, and Hillis just leapt right over him.
He may be great, but I will be happy every time they hand the ball off to him. The Jets are much better against the run than the pass. If they can hold Peterson to 88 yards, I'll take my chances with Hillis.
I'm not arguing with you, but if I had to pick my poison, I'd prefer Cleveland runs the ball. P.S. Chris Johnson is pretty decent too. Miami should stack the box. I wouldn't worry about he TEN passing game
Cleveland Nov. 14: High 55°F Low (night) 38°F wind 11 mph per The Weather Channel precip: 30% humidity: 70%
A cold dry day in Cleveland with a wind. Will be interesting to see if Sanchez can adjust to the conditions.
I don't know, Padre. Sounds like typical Northeast conditions, with little wind off Lake Erie. I know it's mean, but growing up in Pittsburgh, Cleveland was often called the mistake by the lake. Looks like it won't be a huge factor...
I came up in Buffalo, the City That Time Forgot. Humidity at 70% next to the Lake? As for a factor, Sanchez had a peculiar problem with playing well in games below 40 degrees last season.
Hey, luckily he never became a Bills fan. I can't imagine how bad it must feel to lose the Superbowl 3 times in a row
Not so fast. Shaun Hill is the Lions' QB this week. He's not a bad backup at all. However, I think Buffalo will be able to win their first this week. I won't say they'll go 0-16 if they lose to Detroit, because they have been extremely competitive in each of the last few weeks. I think they'll eke out a win somewhere. It's just there's no better time than this week.
O'Berlin Rd and in N Tonawanda..still recall walking to Bison games at War Memorial Stadium at night, oh, that was fun. Moved to S Florida, and the family all cheered for the Bills, so I had to cheer for the Dolphins.. Still like the Sabres though..
Hah! I never owed allegiance to the Bills, the first football game I can recall watching was the Dolphins with Zonk and Griese in 79.l
No, iirc it was a playoff loss to the Patriots. Used to really like Chuck Knox, but not enough to make a switch. Enjoy your Bills fandom dude...
Ahh..dueling fat men, have to love it. And I never really realized that those two are "identical" Rob Ryan has a goatee and curley hair but man. ROB RYAN IS BIZZARRO REX RYAN!!!!
They would actually be good looking men, IMO, if their features weren't so distorted by their excessive love for food or whatever they're putting in their bodies. Men can carry some extra weight and still be attractive; the Ryan brothers have not pulled that off. Just a female perspective
Funny thing is, several women have said that Rex Ryan is a big teddy bear, Anita Marks really dug him.
A stopped clock is right twice a day. Just keep predicting Jet losses. You are bound to be right at some point
I hate Chansy Stucky. I hate his name, I hate that he fumbled in Jets territory in OT, and most of all I hate him because he used to be a Jet.
Please explain. Nick Folk misses three field goals, the Jets still find a way to win, and they are lucky? Please debate this with me so I can destroy you.
Hats off the your Bills. ...they actually found a team that wanted it less. Either way, nowhere to go but up from here on out.
Stuckey found a way to give the ball back [to his old club no less] when the game was at hand. Still a HORRIFIC play call though.
How was the play call horrific? He made a short catch and ran up the sideline to put them well into field goal range? Stuckey does his job and gets out of bounds, or just gets tackled, and the Browns are sitting pretty in OT. But it wasn't luck because Drew Coleman literally ripped the ball out of his hands. It would have been luck had Stuckey just dropped the ball out of nowhere.
