Or he may be convinced that any other Qb can step in and play at a higher level than Chad Henne has been with this level of talent on offense? Not saying I agree, but can see the line of thought.
I think Tyler Thigpen is everything this coaching staff fears: A guy who will take a ton of chances. He's basically the anti-Pennington. Fortunately for him, I don't see him being as tentative as Henne, because unlike Henne he basically has nothing to lose.
I'd almost like to have him back on the roster JT, especially if they want to run the widlcat more often to take pressure off of Thiggy.
Hunt is 6-1 and under 250 , so he will have to physically fit the scheme. He did get 16 sacks of course and is just 24.
He's exciting, thats good enough for me. Every time this guy comes in the game, the offense moves. If he sucks, we lose a 5th round pick. But if he can build on what he started in KC...
The thing with Hunt is he is such a polished DE, I thought I'd see a speed rushing DE who pinned his ears back on every play but he actually rarely does so, his actions as a DE are really solid even in the final game of the season he was breaking down like a OLB, reading the play, then stepping on the gas. He also looks like he needs to hit the weight room, for his 2nd season in the CFL he looked waaay underdeveloped in his upper body. Which of course just means more upside if/when he hits a NFL fulltime strength and conditioning program. Bills would be crazy not to take a run at him, ditto the Texans.
