Ronnie had 2 rushes in the first half. I don't know if Ricky had more than one or two. That clearly worked with a 3rd string QB.

Can we really blame the run game when they didn't even get a chance to do anything?

No. But you can blame Dan Henning. Running the ball that little, with your 3rd string QB playing, is a recipe for disaster. That being said, so is what's left of our O-line with all the injuries.

For a 3rd string qb, with a injured LT to give our backs 4 touches in the first half is ludacris. They shouldn't wait till the end of the year to can Henning. If he isn't released of his duties Sparano should go too for not getting rid of Henning.

Brutal play calling tonight. Absolutley brutal.

Really showed how much we miss Henne actually making Henning look respectable. And then they bench Henne. Looks like we found out tonight it wasn't Henne, it's how our offense is run that is the culprit.

well with our O line dropping like flies i can understand why we didnt run it more honestly. Running the ball makes the oline more prone to injury.

Yup, Sparano can save his *** or go down with the ship the choice is riding on his back. He better go to Ross TOMORROW and say yo this guy needs to go. Gives the new guy an extra few days to get something going.

6 carries total. I don't care how banged your linemen are, that is inexcusable. People can rag on Thigpen all they want, but the fact is, he never had a shot. Wow, just wow.

And our 3rd string RB Cobbs got 2 carries! This is pathetic, I'm longing for the days of Dave Wannstedt.

Bears ran the ball 40 times. Gee, I wonder why they won?!?

[Tony Sparano voice]Yeah cause like ah yeah we kept track of Ronnie and Ricky's play count and figured we would get Cobbs in there to keep them fresh......

It's funny how we still run play action fakes when we don't ever run the ball.

I can't decide who Henning put more in a position to fail. The running backs, or the 3rd string quarterback who was as un-prepared as anyone in that lockerroom on a short work-week?

Seriousy? I didn't catch but the first 2 plays of that game (suspiciously timely errands came up at 8:30). I'm flabbergasted hearing we're still trying that.

Really what it comes down to, is there was nothing we could do with that makeshift offensive line. That being said though, I'm more referring to the past 9 games as well, where we continued to do the same things over and over again. Again, last night, we're watching Henning call play action passes on 3rd and 10+ yards multiple times. Its ridiculous.

i just watched sporano's presser(not sure if it was from this morning or after game)and the way he explained the amount of rushes really peed me off.his main excuse was that we only ran 48 plays and that when down 16-0 that you have to throw the ball.ok so out of the 48 plays we ran only like 4 or 5 of those were runs and we quit running the ball after our second series when we were only down 6 points, not down 16.give me excuses that make sense sporano!

im not real sure i agree we shouldve kept running the ball because the issue was our beat-up o-line was getting ricky and ronnie stuffed in the backfield darn near immediately but give me a better reason than we only run x amount of plays..come out and say that our line was patchworked and was not getting the needed push for the run to be any success and i can live with that.

I mean we've been averaging a whopping 3.8 ypc against 7-man fronts all season. The obvious path to take is to try running into 8-man fronts, against one of the better run defenses in the NFL, with a ravaged OL. Genius.

Then run a spread offense. stop using stupid *** playaction passes all game it just gives them more time to get to the QB.

We don't really have a QB thats accurate enough to run the spread offense, and we certainly don't have an OL that can play in that type of scheme?

How can anyone think that Dan Henning is a good offensive coordinator after this PATHETIC display? You have a young QB with little inexperience, and you let him throw 90% of the time. Ricky had 1 yard rushing?

    What a ****ing joke.
