Wait, so let me get this straight. The one guy who agrees with you, is the one guy with common sense? Yep, I know all I need to know now.

I apologize if you wanted a prodigy. Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco got a hell of a lot of press because it was so strange for a QB to start day 1. Usually QB's (Rivers, Rodgers) sit for three years. It took Rivers 4 to become good and 5 to become elite.

A few grammar mistakes here and there are no biggie, but I can't take someone serious who repeatedly butchers posts.

Never mind the logic is completely flawed.

That statement by itself makes every other statement instantly disregarded. Lose to get a better draft pick.....absolutely ridiculous.

Sell out the future to win now when you know your team is not able to compete with the big boys is the reason we are not going to compete for a superbowl again. Its year 3 and we are no closer to competing than year 2.If you remember henne was going to be the starter then the jets released pennington.Hell these idiots started pennington in year 2 when you know his limitations would never take you deep into the playoffs. How the hell were we ever going to know if henne is the answer. We still don't know.
This season is ****ing over and I would rather lose every game and gets some game changers on this team.We currently have one on defence, and one on offence at the moment.
You people will argue I want to win now but I don't give a crap. What is the point of being 10-6 (not gonna happen anyway) and not making the playoffs and falling farther down the draft.
I am 43 and I am pissed off I want to win a ****ing superbowl before I ****ing die!

Thats a ****ing bright oberservation.Rivers sat behind drew brees, and rodgers behind farve. What the hell did you think was going to happen.Marty loved brees and was against picking rivers to begin with.
Did you really think they were going to bench farve for a rookie qb.

10 weeks of jubilation versus 10 weeks of misery - that is the difference. Just watch the reaction around this joint. It's about winning. Everything else is a sideshow.

As to the draft........ It's almost universally accepted that there are 10 players that are bonafied 1st round, game changing picks. I do not want to be a part of the worst 10 teams in the league. More importantly, no player or staff member wants to be a part of that team neither.

When you buy a team, coach a team, or manage a team I want you to go ahead and sacrifice ONE season. You will not do it. If you thought you would do it, you would not ever have the success in life that would allow you to buy, coach, or manage a team. It's just the way life goes. There are winners and then there are losers.

............and Henne sat behind Pennington. Did you really think they were going to bench Pennington for a rookie qb?
