Big 3pts by Rovers today vs Wigan...after tough back-to-back beats by Liverpool and Chelsea.

    Newcastle next up!

Cheers Bab, was a huge win for us. I was actually more impressed with that victory than I was with the Sunderland one.

You guys seemed very off-key Sunday, but you have been at home for the past few games. I thought before the game that you would carve us open as we were playing 4-4-2, but it never really happened for you. It seemed like Arsenal were trying to force the ball an awful lot. Fabregas was a shadow of himself (not 100% plus Tiote's presence restricted him).

You guys will be fine though. Maybe that was the wake up call that you needed.

Just got around to watching Liverpool thrash Chelsea!!! I had stayed away from looking at any soccer scores (not hard to do here in the USA, not like the NFL). Torres!!! "Remember Him?" Epic two goals...absolutely brilliant. Lucas played out of his mind... nice to have Kuyt back, playing up top next to Torres as well! And I thought Kelly played great at RB, his first major app... I'd slowly put him in over Johnson whom I feel is grossly overrated.

I couldn't bear to watch it bearing in mind I'd hear so much about it at work the next day and that I was already depressed...lol

Although Liverpool being one of my least favourite teams I'd love to see them pip Sp*rs & City for 4th..I'd spend days laughing!!

I don't rate Johnson at, he's a liability at the back and once he's not scoring consistently he's in trouble for his place in the line up.

You guys were definetly the big winners this weekend, with both United and City also dropping points in their past 2 games.

If City dont get back on form soon, then I can see Mancini getting the chop before Christmas.

Were the better team against Newcastle. As much as I hate Sam Allardyce, he had you guys set up very well. Unlucky to catch Spurs on a good day, but thats what they can do to many teams when they are on form.

hee used to be their manager for about a season (if it was that long!?) pretty awful. I hate Sam Allardyce, he's much luck Rednapp as in always telling those that will listen that they could do..so and so's job or the England job is easy, yet later down the line they'll rule themselves out by saying they have other commitments or don't need the pressure of the press..either do the job or STFU!

PS; Anybody know how I can multi quote since the site upgrade? My work computer (not a pc but get limited internet access and phone don't seem to like the upgrade!..smh)

Thats pretty much it. Dude believes he is a top European manager, when I dont think he has even won a domestic cup. Also very quick to pass on blame when things go wrong.

oh that ENG vs FRA "friendly"... wtf was that shiz? I don't care that we didn't have the usual regulars in, should never lose to France, let alone play that poorly at home. Capello's days have to be numbered don't they? I finally heard the man speak at a press conference.. he doesn't speak English too well... how the hell does he communicate to the team?

At the end of the day, it was only a friendly game and I dont think people will mind too much considering he gave some young guys a run in the 1st team (which is what friendlies should be used for). But more results like drawing a competitive game at home to a nation that's 4 years old is far more concerning. I'm not a fan of Capello either, but he will get them to the Euro's again, so he wont be canned until after then, unless he really makes a **** of qualifying.

I am so pissed off bud! That's the worst 2nd half display I've seen from Arsenal in a long time! God knows what Fabregas was doing putting his arm up like that?!

Another bad day for results as Wellington Phoenix lost today as well and that England game...less said the better! (I did type a long post about it but the site wasn't liking my phone this week and didn't upload it! ::(: )

It's a frustrating season..Chelsea lost again and we're not benefiting by throwing games away..you guys are very similar..great results against us and the makems then Blackburn and Bolton...it's definitely a Jekyll & Hyde season!

Its just crazy Bab. Its becoming very difficult to actually predict the outcome of games as every team seems so inconsistent. I mean City in the past number of games haven't been able to score, then they put 4 past Fulham away. United are unbeaten yet every game is a struggle to get a result. Spurs struggle after they play in Europe and Chelsea have lost 3 of there last 4!!!

Its exciting, but its extremly frustrating at the same time. Just when you think your team has turned a corner and are about to go on a good run of form, you lose a couple.

Decision Day 2022... and 2018... I don't think I'm going to see what i want (Eng = 2018 and USA = 2022). Watching this on FSC and all they are talking about is the 2022 decision. Obvoiusly with FIFA deciding on both the same day, the decisions are linked to each other and the politics involved must be prevalent. Get the feeling it'll be Spain Portugal and Qatar in 2022...

Rumor going around that the US got rejected for the WC.

They can go **** themselves if this true. Our facilities and stadiums are the BEST in the world. We would be a spectacular WC Host. There is no threat of being beheaded after kidnapped like in South Africa...but hey...we can't be perfect.

THE ONLY place IMO it would be acceptable losing out to would be England. and Only because of their tradition and legendary stadiums.
