We could really use his talent on this team. Not only on offense but on special teams too. What does his mom have anything to do with his productivity on the field?? Thank you Jeff Ireland.

I have a better Idea. We should convince Marshalls mom to be a lady of the night. Obviously prostitutes make great mothers and that is essential in a players on field production.

We really didn't need a WR at that time since we traded for Marshall

Captain Hindsight and his sidekicks make their appearance. The Dolphins also should have signed Drew Brees, hire Mike Smith, and taken a left turn at Albuquerque.

OLB, NT, FS and Guard was more important at that point than getting a WR.

And that has turned out very well. I am so glad we have Marshall because he is such an endzone threat and now we wont have to kick as many fg's.

So you're blaming Marshall because the Dolphins aren't using him the right way in the endzone? His not supppose to throw fades to his own self

Are you really defending Marshall? Do you think Marshall has played up to his abilities?

Ill take Dez Bryant (or Earl Thomas) and those two second rounders will suffice for other positions. Ireland was so concerned about Bryant's character yet he gave two second rounders for a WR who everybody already knew had character issues. We need true game changers on this team not solid players who happen to be boyscouts. Add Pat White and how can we trust Ireland to improve this team.

I never said that his playing up to his abilities, all i'm saying is that the Dolphins aren't using him the right way in the endzone. When a guy is 6'4 you got to throw some jump balls his way to let him go up there and get it.

It really didn't go down the way it was reported, but it wasn't good pub for us either.

Ireland drafted Pat White to be a playmaker but it just didn't work out. It's one of those picks if it works out you're a genius and if it doesn't you're an idiot for making that pick.

Its not just his underachieving, the guy is a basketcase. Always has been. Watching the cowboys every player gave up on his team except one, Dez Bryant. The guy was giving it everything he had even though his team didn't care. Here the dolphins face a little turmoil and Marshall acts like a 4 year old, but at least his mom isnt a prostitute.

So how long do we wait for the genius pick? Whats an acceptable busts to playmaker ratio?

Dez Bryant is definetly handling his emotions better than Marshall.

Lol...my issue is not Dez Bryant himself. My issue is the reasoning in why he was not drafted. Ireland would rather gamble on Pat White playing a new position than gamble on Dez Bryant who everybody already knew what he would be like on the field. If we spend a high draft pick on Robinson to be our franchise Qb I might go on a rampage.

i look at it simply like this

odrick/misi = solid, good guys on off the field, although ultimately replaceable

Dez Bryant = high risk/very high reward, talent that doesnt come along every year, game-changing, game-breaking, STUD

I doubt that Ireland didn't want to draft Dez Bryant only for the reason that his mom was a hooker.

He sure as hell didn't find any flaws in his game. The kid made a mistake in college and payed for his ignorance. Ireland spent more time looking into his past than he did getting to know the kid himself, and that philosophy can come back to bite us in the behind. If it hasn't already.

It wasn't a good idea to draft someone who isn't a need with the #12 pick.
If we drafted Dez with the #12 pick than we would of had to wait until the 3rd round to start drafting for needs.

well if you werent a lazy eye you'd see BM is double sometimes tripled teamed. He might not score alot but the guys still on pace for 90+ Rec. 1100yrds.

Its not his production im worried about. It's the kind of person he is showing himself to be. If my team is down and im in a dogfight, Marshall is not the kind of guy I want in the trenches with me.(I know that analogy doesn't make a whole lot of sense but you get where im going with it)

He's also on pace to throw about 6 tantrums, 9 penalties, 15 costly drops, and if were lucky we might see him punt a few balls in practice.

So what your telling me is that Hartline, Bess, and Fasano are absolute trash? Because if Marshall has so much attention on him then somebody else should be able to step up. Also ive seen Andre Johnson catch a Td with 3 guys on him on 4th and 10 with the clock expiring to get his team into overtime. Every elite wide reciever has to face double teams.

    1998 OJ McDuffie 90 catches 1050 yards as an outlet..... 7 Td's...

Put it on the QB all you want. I know the difference.

So he or Parcells drafted a situational playmaker who we later cut over a guy who can play every down including ST?

If we drafted Dez it still wouldn't have mattered with our conservative playcalling. However it would have been interesting to see him in the return game.
