http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/22209/gailey-sees-fitzpatrick-as-the-2011-starter I've liked Fitzy for some time now, as WC can attest to, now he does play in a specialized offense but so what? As long as he produces and they build around it, what is the problem with a Qb succeeding in a specialized offense? The K-Gun and the Bengals no huddle worked well enough to lead both teams to the Super Bowl, why hate on it? FWIW, Thiggy could have the same sort of success in a similar offense.
He may not declare for the draft, that remains to be seen, which is one of the reasons why "lose games on purpose to draft Luck" seems kinda dumb imo.
Fitz allows the Bills to pick a lineman in the draft, which they desperately need - no need for a QB right now with the way he's slinging it. Although Ryan Mallett is the truth. Obviously Luck to CAR at #1.
Ryan Mallett is hardly the truth IMO. I don't see an offensive lineman yet that is worthy of that high of a pick.
Gailey was his OC when he went 1-9 Thigpen wasn't great, played well in first half of games and did nothing in the second half. Also threw 3 ints against us that year.
So much is up in the air right now WC, do they stick with the 4-3 or try again with the 3-4? Jettison Maybin and McCargo?
