It seems to me that your the one that needs to get over it. Henne is the best QB on our roster.

I hope the Line can block today for him.

    you're not your
get over it. Henne is a bust!
what we will see today is more of the same
we need to find another QB for 2011
or do you really think this is his break-out game?
    think about it

    would not surprise me
to see Thigpen finish the game

Eh, we shall see, no one knows how well Henne will throw the ball with the knee brace during the game, could be he is ineffective due to injury and Thigpen finishes the game.

could be he is a bust too.
the guy is mediocre @ best
& mediocre is not good enough for a SuperBowl.

no QB in my memory has been brought along so carefully,
provided with every opportunity & tool to succeed as Chad Henne.
How much more time & resource do we waste?
no more excuses, it is what it is.
    about that brace:
many QB's, including our own Marino have started
won & finished games wearing a knee brace.
    no more excuses

just win the game:dolphin:we need to win games

Bro, outside of Pennington, can you recall the last Dolphins Qb who ended the season with a winning record?

How about two? And do you recall what their records were?

I have to say I never understood this arguement....The guy either lets stuff bother him or doesnt.....much like Sanchize doesnt as he was throwing interceptions at a rapid rate his first year, but his confidenece never waivered....

what kind of retro-excuse for not winning is this?
no QB in my memory has been brought along so carefully,

How much more time & resource do we waste?
we need to find a franchise QB
this cannot happen as long as we are in denial
making excuses & fantasizing will not change his ability
Henne has been measured, he is not franchise material.
our future rest in the draft or free-agency

His confidence didn't look damaged in the Tennessee game. I think if it's possible he needs to be out there. I want to see him build on what he was starting vs. the Titans.

No QB in your memory has been brought along so easily?

You must have not watched much football.

6 out of the top 10 QBs in passer rating as of today wasnt the starter in their first 2 years....

Henne was forced into the starting role because of injury and has played decent since becoming the starter in his 2nd season

Bro, that is not what I asked, what I am attempting to do is offer some perspective on the Qb position post Marino and then fit Chad Henne into his place in the less than stellar pantheon of Qb's.

    -Jay Feidler: 10-6 2003
    -Gus Frerotte 8-7 2005
    -Chad Pennington 2008 11-5
    Chad Henne 2009 7-6

Every other season the Qb had a losing record, and Henne is far younger than any of those Qb on the list, have some perspective.

the proof of Henne will be in his game.
he will be @ best, mediocre.
the question you have to ask yourself:
Do you ever want to win another SuperBowl?

Want Miami to wind up the Detroit Lions of the AFC ? It could happen.

Glad you are using color again, and if you notice the Lions spent several top 5 picks on Qb's, none of which worked out.

None of which had even the success Henne has had, think about that for a moment, Andre Ware, Joey Harrington, Matt Stafford, all top 5 picks, none had winning records as starting Qb's in the NFL.

no way brother, I want to see him play this game for a myriad of reasons...Any time a man has a chance to redeem himself and cement his future for himself and his family, you find out incredibly valuable data.

Competition is the Elixir of Success!
    Friend djphinfan:
I agree with you completely for a myriad of reasons.
start him until he wins the position or is forced to the bench permanently
this issue has to be resolved in 2010.
neither the PostSeason nor the SuperBowl are in our sites
this is the time to define, this is the time to answer questions
let the hen compete with himself until the end of the year
next year we rebuild the offense

    my QB predictions for 2011:
    1) Pennington moves to the coaching staff
    2) Henne is traded
    3) we use our first pick of the draft on a QB
    4) Thigpen sticks
    5) we contract a veteran starter out of free-agency

This is how Henne can redeem himself with me. Stop staring down receivers. Period.

I wish he would just say F*** it and call his own audible if he knows the play Henning just called is B.S. All this talk of him not being allowed is BS. Show the cajones and do it. Even if it fails, you have taken a step in my book. If the coaches pull you out of the game for it, call them out in the press. Take some leadership. That will sway me back personally.

in all probability, Henne will not redeem himself, but confirm what we already know & this is a good thing.
how many times do you have to break up  before you actually break up?
most people, knowing full well it won't work go back & try, try again. :cupid:Love is blind, it is irrational.
it is what it is :couch: until you fall in love again, hopefully, with the RealDeal this time
    :theman:Henne
Bill Parcells: Chad Henne is a disappointment :shifty: you know more than Bill Parcells?

please no more excuses. I rest my case on the outcome of this game. the field is an honest broker

    1. Pennington coaches, but not on Dolphins
    2. Henne is the starter
    3. We use our first round pick on the O-line
    4. Thigpen is gone
    5. We get a vet back-up

the real & ultimate question may be:
are we on the road that will lead to a SuperBowl
or are we destined to be Lionized ???

How comfortably are you with decades of mediocrity?

Hell of a game for Henne today on a bummed knee. That's the kind of game that can really boost a young QB's career, especially with his teammates. To put up those numbers, with the injury, and a still sort of banged up O-line. Those are the kind of games that spark young QB's careers, and really boost a team's confidence in their young QB.
