Interesting I never heard this before this year, or saw him wear those sunglasses before this year. Maybe he does, then maybe the FO is saying whatever to gullible worshipping fans.
Mike & Mike made a joke on Sparano's shades last week. Then, they found out that Tony was in an accident when he was younger, which almost blinded him. They spent minutes on air apologizing for their stupidity, and saying something without knowing what they were talking about. Look it up if ya like.
I believe it was a grease fire which got into his eyes but, do not want to say for sure because I am not.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Sparano Here;s a wikipedia link but, they may have just put this in for gullible Dolphans.
The grease splashed in his eyes from a deep fryer at a restaurant he worked at. I believe he was blinded for 3 days.
canes fans better worry about their own situation....like they better get their athletic director to build an on campus stadium...Sunlife will kill that program....25 k today..
And all this time I thought he was a fan of "I wear my sunglasses at night." Love the fist pumps on FGs comment.
and my theorie grow's, and grow's.. Nice taking away a major part of the fabric and culture of the U, and putting it in sunlife..fuc%$n brilliant... How does one not be able to understand the meaning of that stadium's presence and ability to lift the energy of players, and their performance?...There are so many residual positive variable's that stadium created for that program, its incomprehensible to imagine someone in the position of power not having the foresight or enough progressive thinking to be able to stop a move to sunlife. OB2...A financial superstar.
If anyone wants to make an animated gif of Sparano fist-pumping a fieldgoal, I'm sure it'd be a popular sig. lol.
More proof that Mike and Mike, along with other media and also fans on message boards, don't actually do any research and just decide to run their mouths for the sake of attempting to be funny.
Are you a So Fla resident ? Are you an Alumnus ? If you were you'd know there is ZERO room on that campus, that is issue # 1. Issue # 2 is dealing with the City of Coral Gables. The campus sits on the edge of the city, has no room for expansion and is one of the snottiest, snobbiest and stuck up cities in America. I mean you have to submit your color choice to the city before you can paint your house - you can't even park a truck in your front yard. They had a fight a few years ago in the city commission when it was finally approved that you can park your SUV in front of your house. Then there was the case of the U of Miami baseball scoreboard (yes the baseall stadium is on campus) and it took 3 years to get that approved and there is no residential property within 3 blocks of that scoreboard, yet they f*cked with the U for 3 years about it. And you want to build a 60,000 seat on-campus facility ? I was wrong about Sparano and I apologize, but you need to man up too about the Canes stadium situation.
