Interesting comparison in that Abraham has been a quality passrusher in the NFL for a long time, but his durability was always a problem.

I like this quote "he threatens so many people with speed, he can get the lineman sitting real light in his stance and then blow him up" ....

His speed forces many lineman to not plant solidly so they can try to be quick enough to react to his speed. At times this doesn't provide a solid base , which because of his strength allows him to power through or around opponents.

There is a LOT to like in Wake's game , and when you pair that with his work ethic , desire to be better and how insanely athletic he is for his size you have a MONSTER in the making.

Yeah D22, and truth be told, he has not gotten as low around the corner this year as he was last season, I suspect he is saving that for when he "needs" to get a sack.

Interesting thing to me is how different Phil Hunt's style is from Wakes' , Phil is more like a ultra quick rabbit who can use his hands a bit better than Wake did when he first arrived in the NFL but he does not have Wake's blend of speed/power/motor, Hunt is more like a technician.

I think the 1st year was all about acclimation & building confidence.
This year is about solidifying his confidence and showing <to himself> that he can effectively play day-in and day-out at an NFL level (and not just as a pass rusher).
Next year I think he comes in and puts everything together and absolutely blows up (Defensive POY honors).

The best part of it all? Wake hasn't even reached his pinnacle yet. It's scary.
