Yep, then sit back and see what happens: Ravens v Steelers Jets v Patriots Those games will set the table for what has to happen the rest of the way, assuming we defeat the Browns.
well, the way i figure it, is to make the playoffs we'll most likely have to win out and get some help. If this happens, we would be the hottest team in the league and that would carry into the playoffs. And we have proven we can play on the road. I'm just saying..........
I'm all for the Jets crashing. I dread them winning this Monday, and getting home field for the playoffs. I will be sick to my stomach.
I'm focused on taking care of our own business... closing the season on a hot streak and taking down our division rivals like we should have two months ago. To be honest I'm not holding my breath about the playoffs, even if we win against the Browns. Not much will change because of this weekend's match-ups... then the Jets game in 9 days will decide the next step of our fate. If we beat the Jets, that's when my optimism will go way up. But I'm happy we have a shot and are playing relevant football in December... win in Oakland was huge to get this going in the right direction.
Here I will let this video say it all.
So Im sure Lenarts injury will help our chances against the Jets. Not sure if you guys heard he broke his leg at practice today. It will hopefully help the outcome of them loosing on Monday night. Not wish injuries on anyone and I hope he recovers after all but it will not help the outcome of the Jets next few games. I fully agree we need to take care of our own business. I have a very good feeling of whats to come the next few games. I think there is a fire under the butts. Only time will tell.
I just don't have enough faith in Dan Henning to be optimistic about the playoffs. Whenever the offense starts playing well he finds a way to screw it all up. He called a good game last week so I sit and wait for Mr. Hyde.
I agree Henning has to go not sure who else we can get. Last weeks game apparently was very influenced by Sparano (regarding play calling). Hopefully he has realized that if for Dumba$$ Henning Ronnie and Ricky would touch the ball 3 times the entire game. The funny thing is all the analyst say, I'm sure everyone has heard it this week, "If Miami does what it does best which is play smash mouth football bla bla bla..." I think his old age has made him forget things and I think his hearing is going. LOL
Well we know the defense is for real, being ranked 6th in the NFL and we're in December. Can the offense keep going what they started in the Black Hole? Then we have a good shot.
Balthazar (Worldly Wisdom)- Expect the worst, hope for the best. Pandarilla (fap wisdom;soon to be hardback)- Shut your face and enjoy the game. Dez Bryant's mom-You ain't got no pancake mix!

If the jets lose to the pats and we beat the browns, things will have become mighty interesting. I like our chances against the jets sans Jason Allen.
There are still several scenarios that could put us in. It's hard to win eleven games and not make it. So that should be the team's only focus. If they win eleven and sit out at least they'll have a lot of positive things to build on next year. I still have hope b/c unlike ESPN analysts I know that just because a team is winning a lot now doesn't mean that's going to continue until the end of the season. The Jets and Steelers could both easily have a couple more losses already. The Steelers definitely should have two more. That drop was the luckiest thing I've ever seen in football I think. I know a receiver would never drop a game winner vs. the Fins.
