For the Dolphins, it is better if the Patriots win, imho the pats can go 14-2 or 13-3, the Jets however with a loss to the pats and to us become our clearest path to a playoff birth.

There's a big difference. Manning has played under pressure on a regular basis over his entire career and still has played great. Last night he played horrible, yes, but that's not typical Manning under pressure play. However, the very few times that Brady has been pressured over hsi career he has wilted. I can't recall a game when Brady was constantly hit/rushed/sacked and he still played "elite". Manning does it all the time. In fact, that's what Manning is known for, you blitz him and you lose. Last night was the exception and not the rule.

Hey man, I was just answering what you said: "In all of my years I have never seen an "elite" QB wilt or play so differently under pressure."

Irregardless of what he's done in the past, Manning wilted last night.

I guess I should have been more clear. In all of my years I have never seen an "elite" QB ALWAYS wilt or play so differently under pressure".

Well, I am one of those guys that thinks Brady is pretty damn good. He had a bad game the first time they played this year. I don't expect him to have another one.

As far as the Jets pressuring the QB, that has been a big problem for them all year. I am pretty sure their sack leader is Taylor and he has something like 3. They can not generate pressure on the QB with a 3 or 4 man rush. They have to blitz and more often than not, it gets picked up. They better come up with something if they want a shot at this game.

The other problem area for the Jets is covering the middle of the field. The Pats have two very good pass catching TE's. I have no idea how they are going to cover them. I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of Kyle Wilson and Eric Smith....not a good sight for the Jets, even though Smith had one of his better games on Thanksgiving.

I am curious as to whether they put Revis on Welker. I hope they do. 1) He's the best corner and Welker is their best receiver and 2) I am interested to see how he does covering a receiver like Welker. I don't think he will have the kind of success he has had against the big speedy receivers who run deeper routes. Revis is great at closing and the deeper/longer the pattern, the better shot he has of defending the pass. Welker catches a lot of quick passes and Revis won't have time to close if he loses him off the line. Should be interesting.

Anyway, if the Pats play their best and so do the Jets, I see the Pats winning. I really think they are a better team and a lot of that has to do with Brady. I hope I am wrong.

I mean the guy only has a couple of rings and MVP awards. He also had about 51 touchdowns in a season. It's really good that you can see he's pretty damn good.

Well sadly enough, if no one circles the wagons better than the Buffalo Bills, no one disappoints their fans with sudden collapses better than the NY Jets at least that is what I counting on..

jests are1-2 against teams with a winning record. last time they played a decent team, they got blanked 9-0. They've been getting by, by the skin of their teeth, against average to poor teams. I don't see them standing much chance against the Pats, unless they get over 3 or 4 game changing breaks.

I believe that undefeated team had to beat winning teams in the playoffs I think your stats are a bit inaccurate.
The facts are the jests fans were reading to ditch this team after week one when they lost. I hate both these teams
and hope for a tie, but I believe the Pats is going to whip fat boy and company.

Did a little research. In the 2000 season, the Patriots were swept by the Dolphins AND the Jets. They split with Buffalo that year.

He's realistic, not a douche like you. A true fan knows when their team is going to have a hard game because they know their team. All you know about them is their uniform is green and they play in jersey (ya serious, they do)

Statistically, the Dolphin’s 1972 schedule was one of the weakest played by any team in many years. Their regular-season opponents had an aggregate winning percentage of .396 and only two opponents had winning records that year (both were 8-6).

Dude you really believe you can come onto thephins.com and disrespect the achievements of the undefeated Dolphins ? Statically that team went to three straight Superbowls which stood as a record for a very long time, by the way I believe Miami played the jest that year it wasn't our fault the jest historically have been a horrible franchise.
More statics, why haven't any other team repeated this feat ? Statically when was the last time the jest been in Superbowl and where you even alive to watch it ?
Give us a break, because Monday night you and the rest of the jest fans will wake up to reality when the Pats kick the crap out of Jest.
