Dude..I could care less about the play-fake or not. He sat there...stared down Davone Bess...then made a crap throw. There is no excuse for that...NONE. It was a terrible throw. There were 3 other players on routes.

Oh, I agree. He's been terrible today. Off on almost every throw. But its troublesome when youre in a 2nd and 6, where you really could run, or pass, we call a playfake, and nobody on the entire offense does anythign to sell the fake, not the QB, not the RB, nobody. Nobody on defense bit, as I'd assume they never do with how awful our PA looks. Just why keep calling it? Give him that extra time to look over the field. I have no idea why he threw that pass to Bess. Like you, I can overlook the Hartline one, at least he was taking a shot downfield and trying to stretch the field, but that play to bess was ugly execution by everyone on offense, especially Henne. That being said, I just dont see the purpose at all in our playaction calls. Theyre terribly executed by all.
Carroll again in coverage, he sure is getting alot of reps out there today. Sure woulda been nice if carroll had turned his head though, probably coulda had a chance for the INT
I just noticed we still have all 3 timeouts...that has to be a record for most timeouts left this late in a half.
I know, and I agree, it should have been 7. But I mean Im not gonna get on the guy to hard over it. It sucks, and Its still a bad play that he needs to hit, but its not really an end of the world kind of thing like the one to Bess was if you know what I mean.
So you would prfer henne throwing a pick? Because that's the kind of day he's having. In retrospect that play is looking smarter and smarter
I wish we can get Henne into a rhythm here. I bet we just run out the clock though with a few runs. Giving something positive to Henne before halftime would be great though.
