That scrub *** mother****ing Chad Henne needs to find employment elsewhere. My god, how many more choke jobs do we have to see?
If I'm Ross I might think about calling Gruden or somebody like that and gauging his interest. Maybe an overreaction but this is the worst home loss of the year. How do you shut down Peyton Hillis and lose to the Cleveland Browns.
If henning isn't fired tonight im done watching the rest of the year. Its so frustrating watching this offensively challanged team. Also, Brandon Marshall needed to suck it up and play today. We're paying hima boatload of money to sit his *** on the bench and complain.
Im not blaming the whole loss on him, as I said, plenty of other guys stunk up the joint today, playing the second half without Marshall and Hartline really hurt us, as did the two real bad Henne INT's. However, when the game is on the line, and the ball is deliver right to you as a DB and you have a clear path to the endzone, you need to make the play. It is what it is.
Honestly, Sparano burned that first timeout then okay'd a toss sweep to Ronnie Brown on first down. 1 yard. At that point, with 1 timeout, cut your losses and go to OT - but seriously, Sparano's time management is even worse than Henne's touch, which says something. Nolan Carroll - if only you could catch.
Yeah, agreed. Ronnie and Ricky were efficient the entire game. When your QB is stinking it up you kind of need to ride those guys when they're getting 3 to 4 yards a carry.
It's so many little plays that come throughout. I'm not blaming Nolan Carroll on this loss by any means, but you've just got to make that play. I mean if Al Harris is healthy...do we win this game?? Our QB isn't good and he was really bad today. And he was really bad today without any offensive weapons. So other players have to make the plays when they are given the opportunity. Chad Henne has to get that ball to Hartline. Ricky Williams has to make that 3rd down catch. We have to block Shaun Rogers on the FG. Marlon Moore has to make that catch. Nolan Carroll needs to make that interception. Tony Sparano has to make better use of his timeouts. Chad Henne has to make better use of his timeouts. All across the board it was a poor performance, but certainly headlined by Chad Henne.
The problem is the offense was designed to suite Pennington's strengths. Essentially this regime is trying to make Henne into Pennington and that will never happen.
Same ol' ****. We are drafting a QB or we will pick one up via free agency. Henne can't do crap versus cover 2. This season is over.
Henne played horrible. Thee plays were there, he just threw them to the other team. What good is that rocket arm if he keeps on throwing it short.
8-8 Sounds more like it. They beat Buffalo and Detroit. However you do it, get a quarterback. Just get a ****ing quarterback.
Exactly, after you burn some clock, with that boneheaded run call, you might as well have just run the ball and run out the clock and gone to OT. I mean, its not like we've moved the ball well all day, so why try and move it the length of the field in 1:24 or so, with 1 timeouts. Just doesn't make sense, but nothing this team ever does on offense ever does make sense. The way our D played today, I'd have rather ran the clock out, gone to OT and taken our chances there. Instead of trying to force it down the field 80 yards, with 1 timout, and 1:20 or so on the clock. Just... not smart.
Its why Carrol is where he is on the team. Great players make those kinds of plays. Its a common theme having our DB's drop int's when they matter. Maybe cutting Jason Allen wasn't a very good move....
Because we had used the run to set up the pass Fish should have feasted today, instead he choked himself to 3 int's and knocking us out of the playoffs. Stank *** ****ing Qb..knew it was coming, chose to believe he could do better, he didn't.
Really? Because Hennings offense is built for the short passing game. Henne doesn't have touch and doesn't make quick decisions. Not Bull but Fact.
I missed the game to the point where I turned on the tube the Browns were lining up for the FG so I can't comment to much but......by readinng some of the post it seems to be the same arguements every week. DB drops an INT, Henne chokes. IMHO, he isn't the future. He is kinda just here. Not saying he collecting a check only but not a leader, never gets on to anyone, or himself. We need a QB, a second WR and perhaps a coach. Maybe Tony has taken this team as far as he can?
No, the quarterback left 14 points on the field by himself by missing two wide open receivers. Now throw in 3 interceptions to boot......and don't give me no batted balls crap. At 6'5 he doesn't have all those batted balls. Give it up. Dude can't beat cover 2. It's as simple as that.
I thought that was a problem too but since he can't hit wide open receivers down the field I'm not sure what they should do with him.
The sad thing is, this loss probably spells the end of Henne (and Sparano) in Miami. I'd bet Henne will find much more success somewhere else. More than Sparano to be sure.
