This is the funniest post yet. Just for perspective let's look at what you are talking about.

    http://www.nfl.com/videos/miami-dolphins/09000d5d81ca7420/Browns-defense-INT

Brian Hartline has FIVE FREAKING YARDS on Joe Haden. He had to STOP. Dude had to stop his route. The ball was thrown to Joe Haden in stride. You are faulting a guy for running a go route and not being able to STOP to come back FIVE YARDS to make a play on a ball that should have been thrown 10 yards further? Are you serious?

The ball in the endzone on the first drive? I'll give you this. THAT ball was only three yards underthrown. Even Dan Dickdorf could tell that the ball was underthrown.

None of this speaks for the drive killing 3 and 1 thrown in the dirt behind Lousaka Polite in the flat.

None of this speaks for the drive killing pass in the flat BEHIND Ricky Williams.

None of this speaks to the numerous hi/lo reads that are ALWAYS checked to the low. You want to know what Ed Reed was talking about? It's that. He throws the ball where he is suppose to - the low!

So today..... Today you get a camera view of what's behind the low. You get a camera shot of the ball being throw deep because Henne all of sudden has some confidence. AND THEY ARE ALL UNDERTHROWN!! For 12 freaking weeks it's been Dan Henning this. Dan Henning that. Your boy puts on a performance for the ages. He looks in the mirror across the field and sees himself in Jake Delhomme. And all that you can say is that he has no talent around him. Why? Because the ball was actually thrown deep? Because we actually gained positive yardage in the run game? Is that all that you had left. "Everyone else sucks."

That's it. Everyone else sucks. That is until next week. Next week when he goes back to taking ALL the low reads we can go back to saying Henning sucks. Who would know better right? I mean if the ball is never thrown deep, you can never see from the camera angle that they have been open (just like today) ALL FREAKING YEAR!

OMG! You are creating your own freaking history. I can't believe the crap I'm reading. I really can't believe that you believe this. It just boggles the freaking mind. And Adam is actually extending you an olive branch. Yet you press on! It's like Custer's last charge. WTF?

    One "real" interception?

    Stop! Just stop!

    Lets look at the facts.
    A. Hartline was looking back on the ball for 16 YARDS
    B. Haden's back was to the ball until the last 7 or 8 YARDS.
    C. Hartline took 8 steps before he finally decided to plant and "attempt to make a play".
    D. The ball would've hit Hart in the stomach if Haden weren't there.

So please dont tell me that it wasn't Hart's fault. He had more of an opportunity to make a play than Haden did.... roughly 8 yards more of time (while Haden's back was turned) to put himself in great position...... 8 extra yards of time (16 yards total) to assess the pass, realize it's underthrown, redirect his route, and attack the ball while Haden's momentum would've had him going forward.

-A better receiver would've quickly realized the pass was under-thrown.
-A better receiver would've been smacking his lips with the opportunity to turn an under-throw into a big play while the DB's back is turned to the ball while full speed ahead.
-A better receiver does in fact attack the ball. He stops decisively is his route.... comes back for it with authority..... and outpositions the DB who doesn't know it's even under-thrown.

Hartline was as passive as you can get on the INT. Once Henne's throw was manipulated, it became Hart vs Haden..... Hart had the sight advantage and he still lost. To say he doesn't have any fault is insane.

Like i said: Heaven forbid our WRs actually ACT like WRs.

Hart is a textbook example of how NOT to attack a ball. If you wanna see how it's done right, just look at the clip. There are many more (and from different WRs) where that came from.

Yes.... one INT. Are you calling the batted pass a legit INT? Do you count passes that have their throw/motion/form altered at the last second as legit INTs?

First lets define what you and I call legit INTs. IMO, these 2 scenarios are not legit INTs. IE: not resting entirely on the QB.

If you are 6'2 you will be susceptible to alot of batted balls. If you always take the low read, you will get alot of batted balls. There is no offense created for the man that can't get the ball over the line of scrimmage. Batted ball? Interception on the QB? Yes because it is a INEFFECIENCY of the quarterback position.

I agree that he managed it better (as a veteran should), but he certainly didn't have a stellar performance.... and scored as many weak points on offense as we did. I don't see how throwing <what should've been> a game losing pick 6 qualifies as "helping them stay in the game". He got lucky. If that pass isn't dropped, then he's the goat right now.

IMO Jake had a slighty better cast to work with...... and I'd have to believe it was probably game-planned for them to play "wait for Miami to make a mistake" (at least that's how it seemed when I was watching it). What's there to really manage when you're not really doing anything besides punt punt punt punt punt? Was the the plan? If so, he managed it perfectly. lol.

No, not at all.... not saying they're "that much better".... but they are more talented.

I don't go by yards alone b/c of who Cleveland has had at QB, but Massaquoi and Robiskie were 2nd round picks for a reason. It's arguable that they have more combined talent than Bess and Hart even though the stats don't completely justify it. Probably all 32 teams have better 3s & 4s than Moore and Wallace right now. Watson has the edge and experience over Fasano IMO. Hillis has the clear edge over our backs as well.

As much as it makes me wanna puke, I give Cleveland the current edge here.

He's worth taking a chance on in the mid to late rounds, IMO. He has improved drastically from last year, in my opinion. The majority of his interceptions this year has come from his wide receivers tipping up balls. A lot of Iowa fans blame Stanzi for our downfall this season, but I think they're all morons for doing so... I definitely wouldn't use a 3rd round pick on Stanzi. I'd consider using a 4th round pick, but definitely select him in the 5th round.

Tell that to Andre Johnson or Calvin Johnson..... or the multitude of WRs who can ACTUALLY adjust to the ball in air (especially after watching it for FIFTEEN YARDS while the DBs back is turned to the ball).

It doesn't matter if the pass was terrible. Someone caught it!!!....... and it wasn't Hartline. Are you throwing an excuse Haden's way for ACTUALLY catching it then?.... I mean, if Hartline couldn't catch it when he had an extra 8 yards of watching the ball than Haden, then how the heck did Haden catch it when he was in even worse position?

I agree...... the pass, if not impeded by Rogers, could've been better. Good QBs make good passes, right?......... Well good receivers make good catches, too.

Batted passes are Legit INTs 100%. How are they not. as a QB you need to know where your throwing lanes are. Chad Henne has had a problem with batted/tipped passes since last year. You're excusing him because he decides to throw a pass right through a defender. How it that anyone's fault except Hennes? All 3 INTs are his fault.

Hart had 16 yards of looking back at the ball. SIXTEEN!!! he took 8 steps before he decided to plant and make a half-assed attempt at it.
and the momentum of that "stride" would've worked against Joe if Hartline actually attacked the ball rather than let it come to him.
"Not being able to stop"? He chose not to stop!!! For 16 yards he was watching the ball come to him. How much time do you need to give him?!! I'd like to know. He had all the opportunity in the world to recognize the throw and come back to it, placing himself in between the ball and Haden. BUT HE DIDNT. He let himself be outplayed by a guy who's back was turned on the ball for most of the throw.

Yeah, earlier you were saying Henne had a dude in his face during the throw. My question would be:

"How long was Henne going to watch Hartline run five yards behind Haden BEFORE he underthrew it by 10 yards?"

I thought he was loading up to hit him deep in stride <before Rogers suddenly pushed McQuistan back into him causing the underthrow by 10>

The back and forth between you two till 3:30 AM is epic. Sure, I'm just as pathetic but at least I caught a movie in between. Now hug it out you *****es. I feel like I'm part of Chad Henne's conflicted subconcious.

Not as scared to pick a qb 1st round as before

06: 3. Vince young, 10. Matt leinart, 11. Jay cutler
    07: 1. Jamarcuss russell, 22. Brady quinn
    08: 3. Matt ryan, 18. Joe flacco
09: 1. Mathew stafford, 5. Mark sanchez, 17. Josh freeman
    10: 1. Sam bradford, 25. Tim tebow

Qb's picked in the 1st round have been dramatically better since 08.

Jay Cutler isn't a superstar but he's played pretty well lately, I think the light came on for him ... i.e. realizing the limitations of his WRs and knowing what type of offense to run.

Obviously trade our 1st and 1st or 2nd next year to move up and grab Andrew Luck.

Just messin with ya! Honestly, Newton would be as much of a project as Henne. And I don't think he dogfights either.

Wow, I'm a clown even though I've gotten the chance to see Newton play a LOT. Winning in college is not winning in the NFL. Henne won a lot in college too. Newton is not that great of a passer. He can run over COLLEGE players and I've seen him under throw or put too much air on passes that his players have to make plays on a lot.

Then when we need to replace Ronnie and Ricky we'll be trawling the fifth round.

Didn't mean our 1st and 2nd, just one of them and Fins could get Ahmad Bradshaw, Frank Gore or Jonathan Stewart/DeAngelo Williams.(don't know which one of the Panthers RBs are FA's)
