Like most games I cheered myself hoarse.

But, the home game experience this year has been dreadful.

I don't recall Marino ever calling a run on third and ten. I have seen us do that multiple times this year.

It sucks the life right out of you.

I no longer live in the area, but still a Fin fan...I had tix for over 30 yrs...It's appropriate to stand and cheer your team on anytime you are in the stadium. Oh, and ask the players if it doesn't make a difference if the fans are rocking the stadium or not ?? It most certainly does make a difference...perhaps not for that play or that moment, but they feel the difference....

I say, "Go for it Gardenhead...you were right". On top of that, he also paid for that right, so it was even more so 'appropriate'....

    Back in Miami
You mean move to the city that's already lost 2 franchises for lack of support? LOL.
Look, Miami is a challenging market but it's no different than a number of other teams markets.

Not every city can fill it's stadium with the blue collar crazy fan like Pitt, Green Bay and Cleaveland.
In fact the NFL itself is moving itself away from that type of fan with the luxury boxes, "prime seating", ticket prices consistently climbing etc.
Miami, like most other NFL towns will have the fans show up en force when the team is winning.
Support for this franchise has NEVER been an issue when it comes to ticket sales.

    Please.

You can yell loudly from a seated position. When there is a big down in a big spot and the other people in my section stand, I stand. Believe me, I'm just as good a fan as you.

And you people are under a serious misconception of what other stadiums/fanbases are like. For example, I was lucky enough to go to Pittsburgh to see the Fins v. Steelers on the Thursday opener after the Steelers won the SB. Heinz Field was loud, but not overwhelmingly so. And what did the fans do during normal parts of the game? Sat in their seats and clapped/yelled, just like they do at Sun Life Stadium.

I've got a million stories that are exactly like yours. It's gotten so bad at times, that opposing teams fans are telling me to calm down cause some a hole behind me can't get off his fat *** to cheer. It's pathetic.

I've been to 11 games in Miami in my life and I've never seen this happen. Maybe I'm just an idiot and my eyesight is poor.

Which baseball stadium are you talking about? I've only ever been to Orioles and Nationals games so I may not have any room to judge but man a lot of the fans at Camden Yards and Nationals Park just seem to go there to socialize with others or chat about their day the whole time. I hate the crowds in baseball games (though when the Nats were first in town RFK Stadium was a great place to be b/c of so much enthusiasm).
