If Ronnie isn't re-signed, think he ends up in New England?

Does anyone else get the feeling he might end up as a Patriot next season? I can see it now...he then rushes for over 10 TDs, and close to 1000 yards. I wouldn't be surprised at least. Look what they've done with Danny Woodhead and Green-Ellis (and ex-Dolphin Wes Welker). Imagine what they could do with Ronnie in their system.

The Patriots obviously don't need a star in the run game though, so that might send him elsewhere if it's not Miami.

Yes, IMO NE would be his most likely destination.

Heck, I wouldnt be surprised if it was Ricky and they signed him.....both would be welcomed and hurt us.

I don't know how bad it would hurt us. What would they do...give them our playbook? Everyone in the NFL already knows our plays :)

I really like Ronnie as a person, but I honestly don't care where he ends up, even if it's NE...especially if/when we have Ingram or Ryan Williams running the ball down their throats.

Well the Dolphins would be insane to not re-sign one of them to at least use as a backup. That would most likely be Ricky...not sure if Ronnie would want to be a backup, and he is going to get more money...so he is more likely to be gone unless they sign both.

still have Cobbs, Hilliard & Sheets on the roster...but I'd be fine with keeping Ricky on board another year

Ronnie is not a good RB.

Hes not going to fit in NE offense anyways, because every NE back that is successful have one thing in common, they get upfield as quickly as possible.

If they don't resign him, I am hoping he goes to an NFC team.

His style doesn't fit the typical NE running style, hard nosed, smash running with ball security as the primary importance. Ronnie is a developing patient runner. I don't see that being attractive to NE.

He could end up there for sure but i just don't see it if they continue with the same style of backs.

Belichick has praised Brown several times in situations where it wasn't expected. He's one of the few opposing players I've heard BB gush about. The other was Welker. Also back when Bruschi was still playing they asked him who the best running back in the game was and he stated it was Brown. I have no doubt that BB and Bruschi came to that conclusion while watching film together. I would expect that BB disagrees with your assessments of Brown's ability and his likelihood of success in NE.
