This season has been done a couple of games back henne is clearly not the qb for the future so give thigpen some starts and make the games worth watching. henne has had way to many chances to prove himself and has failed everytime lets move on start thigpen and lets see what he has.

Dude did you watch a couple of weeks ago when Thigpen started it was a meagadisaster. Let Henne finish and let the new coaching staff that will be coming in after Sparano gets fired go shopping by trade or the draft. Henne becomes trade bait and his value will not depreciate if he finishes the season healthy.

the kids first game and against a bears defense the destroyed our offensive line. Henne hasnt won a game for us yet its always defense that seals our game henne hasnt had a 2 minute drive to win the game and is horrible in the red zone. You gotta open your eyes and realize that henne is a bust

We have been through all of this before.
Another benching of Henne would do nothing but once again reinforce the stupidity of this staff.

Thigpen isn't much better than Henne, which should say enough.

    might work. makes sense.
certainly couldn't do worse & we've got nothing to lose @ this point in the season.
might learn something more about Thigpen, although it really doesn't much matter.
they know what they pretty much need to know about Dolphin QB's

Granted, Sunday was awful, and he's seemingly regressed a bit this year, but I don't know if that statement is accurate. To me, Henne is our best option for this year and probably next year, even if we draft someone. If that is the case, we need Henne to start the next four to work through his issues and at least give the coaching staff some semblance of confidence in him going into next year. Sure, he'll have to win the job, but what rookie (outside of Luck, who we won't get) is going to realistically beat him out? And what veteran out there would we be able to get of any true quality?

Like it or not, Henne is our QB for the rest of this season, and likely next. He'll have time to either work through this, or lose the job to the next guy, whoever it may be. I like Thigpen as a b/u, but not a starter. Waaaaay too inconsistant to me, even moreso than Henne. Exciting? Sure, but in small doses.

IMO, the last four games are critical in evaluating Henne. And, if I'm the HC, I'd even go so far as to tell him as much. I'd say "look Chad, we haven't seen as much improvement in the areas that we've discussed. We'd really like to see you focus on improving in those areas these last four games. We want to win, but more importantly we want to see you take that next big step in your development. That said, if we feel you're not getting there, that you're just not getting it done, well...we may have to go in a different direction in the off season. It's all up to you son. Show me what you got."

    Coach 'em up Tony!

I'm sure that's exactly what will be happening. The sad thing is, even if Henne doesn't improve, what are our other options for next year? Unless we draft a rookie that somehow just gets it from day one and lights up camp, Henne will be the starter next year.

Henne may luck out in this situation and end up getting more time to improve than he otherwise would be granted. But he really does have to show us something in these last four games, eh! Hopefully, he doesn't blow it.

I think the truth is, Henne lover or Hater, the best thing that could happen for us fans is for Henne to suddenly put it all together and become a good quarterback. It's the quickest way for us to solve the position, because if it isn't him, we may be sitting here in 2013-2014, still looking for the answer.

Thigpen is a FA after this season, and we have showed 0 interest in re-signing him. Absolutely silly to start him.

For better, or worse, I want to see Henne play every play from now to the end of the season. Have to be Frakin Nuts not to.

Remember that time when that same guy couldn't lead us to a field goal? Remember that same guy's 1-12 record as a starter? Remember that time when you posted threads about Tyler Beckham Thigpen being the answer and he wasn't? Peppridge Farm remembers, and Peppridge farm also thinks I'd get banned if I say what I truly want to say. Do you not think the coaching staff is actually evaluating both players and see that Thigpen is looking like **** in practice? There's a reason why Henne is playing with a bad knee. That reason is because Tyler Beckham Thigpen sucks ***.

Good point, and agreed. The big problem, with many a negative posts,is calling for a player or coach's head, is not offering an alternative. Wanna replace Henne with Brady, Rivers, or Peyton, show me how, and sign me up? Gonna get a Luck or Newton? Show me how. Realistic options are a maybe a very questionable Carson Palmer, guys even worse, or our practice squad guy.

Taking shots is easy. Wanting someone better is easy. Finding a better AVAILABLE option is a different story.

I believe that if we bench Henne he will come back and play 1.5 great games, because he is super motivated!
Rinse and repeat for the rest of his career and we should be golden!

I still think you've gotta dance with who you brought and Sparano is in it with Henning and Henne for the duration. I mean the guys knee is f'd up and he still wants to be in there. He may be a robot back there, but at least he's not a deer in the headlights like Thigpen was.

I knew a little boy once, a cowardly little runt, that ran his mouth in the most profound & unwarranted ways as he hid behind his big brother. the big brother grew up but the kid unfortunately did not. today you can find this little troll on any dolphin forum on any given day. the little guy continues to make himself feel big by attacking, slandering, bad-mouthing & insulting others, this time, hiding behind the anonymity of the internet & a big cigar. nothing more annoying than a small mind with a bad attitude aspiring to be an internet bully.
man up & give it a break, no one is interested in this mindless banter. this is a dolphin forum not the View.
post often; post well. post appropriately & never forget the ignore button.

Ok mods. I'm coming back later. I'm warning you now that I'm going to cuss. I'm going to reach into my bag of disgusting words and I'm going to pull as many out as I can. See what happens is I actually post facts about things that happen but apparently facts amount to talking **** on the internet. I don't think anyone can point to a factually inaccurate thing in my post. But no, some people don't like facts, they like their own fantasy. It's pretty easy to tell me not to attack posters but when they refuse to actually debate and egg you on, I don't know what to tell ya. This post is directed to the mods. Probably the only way I don't go off on this joker is if I come back and am unable to post, this post isn't there, or I cool off. I think 1 or 2 would be the most likely.

I hate using the Ignore feature on forums...and I haven't put anyone on ignore on any of the many forums I use. I am so close to putting this 23rd joker on ignore, though, it's not even funny.

Interesting then that you keep on with the anti-Henne posts even though he is clearly our best shot to win. Now I won't quibble over an offseason replacement, but nobody should be clamoring for Tyler "I've won one game!" Thigpen.

Ah why the hell not. Throw the kid Thigpen in there for the first quarter, let Henne play the second quarter, run nothing but Wildcat in the third quarter and only kick and punt in the fourth quarter.

Come on are you ****ing kidding me right now? You write a little anecdotal prose piece chiding people for hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and attacking people, but you are doing the same thing. In one post you managed to call Slowmotion a runt, a troll, a small minded person and a bully, which is a complete violation of the TOS mind you. Time and again posters dispute the garbage that you expel on this site with facts and logic, but you always run away and pull your passive aggressive bull ****. And do you know why that is Fellow Member The 23rd? It is because you are intellectually inferior. You lack the cognitive ability to problem solve and think out of the box, simply because your synapses fire slower than AOL trying to download 2 gigs of porn. But go on and continue posting threads patting yourself on the back about how were right all along, because I'm sure it is the lone bright spot in your crappy existence that you call life. While you do that we will all sit here knowing that you are like the reporter who claims that at the trade deadline his team may buy, sell, or do nothing. It's hard to be wrong when you pick every option. Now you're probably going to write me some little poem about how I'm a bully and try to hurt my feelings and to that I say go ahead, because it only means I am better than you and I know it. (Mods, I'm pretty sure you are going to ban me for this and I understand. I just got sick and tired of his crap, and had to say something).
