would you pick him up and start him this week with the emergence of Thomas, emergence in a sense that he has practiced all week and will come back to play against the rams ? its do or die this week for me, win and youre in, lose and you go home

I tell you what Al, I'll give you some advice, but I require some in return since nobody else seems to be willing to answer my request for advice.

For your scenario, I would really need to know who your other RBs are. Who would you be dropping? Who would you start him over? Pierre Thomas has missed a LOT of time. Ivory should still get plenty of carries making him a decent start.

Now for my question - Tashard Choice vs. the Eagles or James Starks vs. Detroit?

I picked him up very early in the season when Bush and Thomas went down. He has only produced decent numbers twice this season, and one of those times was last week. I dropped him a few weeks ago. He was just too inconsistent.

Yes, Ivory is worth owning if you have Pierre Thomas and a spare roster spot. Otherwise, not really.

might be worth it. you know how people like to "give the ball to the guy with the hot hand" or feet in this case.
on the other hand, i know reggie bush has been back a few weeks already, but hasnt done anything and now thomas is coming back too?
i think all you can do is check 30 minutes before the game starts, and see if thomas will be active or not.
its a tough call. 50/50 IF thomas is activated.

I wouldn't touch Ivory with Pierre Thomas back now. Too risky, IMO. You should be able to find SOMEONE better on the WW.
