Broken finger does him in. Hits just keep on coming. In a surprise move, Dolphins call up TE Dedrick Epps from the PS. That makes four TE's and four WR's on the roster. http://twitter.com/#!/BenVolinPBP
Hmm, seems like there is a move we have not heard about as of yet. 4 te's? Will Epps even be active? Wr corps: -Bess -Marshall -Moore -Wallace Tough chance for Hartline, he was injured blocking.
A good portion of the running game versus the Raiders was generated by Hartline and Carey. This hurts ALL OVER.
Yea, this sucks a ton. I would have preferred to see Pruitt over Epps, but it really doesn't even matter at this point probably. If Marshall doesn't play Sunday, I'm not looking forward to seeing our offense on Sunday.
Well we better damn well hope Marshall goes on Sunday. If not, its going to be ugly. Tough break for hartline, he started out slow, but was looking pretty good out there as of late.
Although it was reported that Marshall and Bess will get the start in place of Hartline, I don't think so. Somebody has some playing time that's gonna go through the roof.
Read that we may not even have Marshal for the game now. Nothing definate yet just someone heard something someone else said.
Just about time we start playing our backups to see who comes back next year. Hartline is a HUGE loss. We are officially done now.
eh. just a finger. not career threatening. its a lost season anyways and the next four games are meaningless. moore and wallace can audition for next year
I would line up Wallace just for the threat of the deep ball. It's not like the second TEs we have are worth much either.
I hope he comes back healthy next year, but this is largely a non-issue concerning the present situation
How does a broken finger land you on IR? You'd think he could just tape it to another one and still play. What a *****.
Yep, even if Hartline and Marshall are out, let's see what Moore and Wallace have for this game as DBess will be doubled as soon as he walks out of the locker room. I think we see the Raiders game plan redux, anyone could catch the ball this game.
Does he really have 615 yards?! Damn, imagine what he'd have with a semi-competent QB throwing to him...
He made some mistakes early, but he's a pretty consistent guy. I feel like other teams give Moore or Wallace no respect and they do nothing about it. You do that to Hartline and he'll bust you for a 25 yard chunk.
I'm not saying he wasn't. But don't even try to tell me he hasn't dropped some huge passes this year.
What passes exactly? I mean from the passes I've seen him drop they were all dropped because Henne overthrew him or under threw it.
Well, just wait for the Marshall antics to amp up because of all the double coverage he'll be getting because of the lack of any targets for Henne. We had probably the slowest starting WRs in the league before Hartline and he was arguably the fastest of the group.... Too bad....Moore needs to really step it up for us...
Dropping passes has absolutely been an issue with all of our receivers...more so earlier in the season, but they still have them way too often...
If you wanna play that game, the argument was about a Dolphin's receiver, not a Bills. If you wanna go back farther, it was about Hartline's injury. [mod] Not appropriate [/mod] These are facts.
Scroll back up and you will see that I quoted a post about dropping huge passes. That was the only thing I had discussed in this thread.
