Watching this offense is like watching a small animal being tortured. Henne is fumbling, throwing picks and making all kinds of stupid mistakes. Ronnie Brown is hesitating before he runs and can see the hole and Ricky Williams is just old and slow. It's just after the 1/2 and if we win this game it will be luck alone. We deserves better than to watch the ******s in agony. THIS OFFENSE SUCKS !
For a talented guy Henne looks awful. No doubt remains in my mind today. They have to replace both Henne and Henning. This is no longer a 'one or the other' situation - it is both. Tuna knew something when he left quickly. This ship is sinking fast.
Lol what? Strong confidence and optimism. Fins are a bad call away from being 7-5 (Steelers) and if we come out with a win in this one, could be 8-5. I don't put any of the blame on Henne today. He hasn't gotten any decent opportunity to prove himself and when he has had the opportunity, he scores. Terrible playcalling, injuries, and dropped passes are what makes this game.
This is a total collapse of all offensive skill positions (mid way through the 4th). If Sporano doesn't make some changes and fast, he will not be here next year, and ya' know, I am starting to believe that isn't such a bad thing. Ireland and Sporano have no experience at their positions taking a team all the way and that is what we desperately need. The fans and Ross both deserve better.
This is exactly how Jets win games, keep it close and pull it out of nowhere. I'm expecting the worst right now.

You know what? I'm willing to forgive a lot of the awfulness of the offense. I still think there needs to be a change, but the weather affected the Jets too, who definitely have better receivers than us. Not to mention the crap-tastic job our offensive line was doing of protecting Henne. This is by no means a pass for Henne, but this was our worst yardage performance of the year out of the offense. I'd like to think that it's at least in part due to the weather, probably large part.
Come on we got 32 yards in the second half who needs a solid D to help when we rack up those numbers?
when Henne plays well we excel. Case and point.....raiders game. Sure there are small nuisances in the offense here and there.....good/great QB's are able to overcome this. Our running game is crap because no one fears our passing game. If we play football in 2011....I guarantee Sparano makes a change at QB. It will be permanent baring injury......because his job will depend on it! Henne's had his chance.....he is average at best. I just thank God we don't have Sanchez. The jets are going no where with this guy at the helm. If the Jets had a average QB they would be hard to beat. Lets hope Ryan doesn't figure it out.........sssssshhhhhhhh
1) got to go up in the draft to have the best chance of finding a franchise QB 2) need a center & pulling guard with pro-bowl potential & a young RB w/ speed if we fall below 500 on the season the only two within the coaching cadre that should not submit their resignations are Ireland & Nolan
The way this team is playing I hope we don't make the playoffs. We will need the highest draft picks possible to fill our many holes, and the inevitable implosion in the playoffs would be nothing more than an embarrassment. For the betterment of the team on the whole we should lose the rest of these games and "hoodwink" our way to being a real playoff team 2011. Also Since we do not have a 2nd round pick in this draft we will need the highest 1st round pick possible to deal it away for more picks. High 1st round picks only happen when you have an awful record and we need to have one. We need to miss the playoffs for so many reasons. If we limp our way into the playoffs with this pitiful offense we will be the laughing stock of the NFL.
Ummmmmmm...Henne didn't throw an INT. The weather had more to do with today's game than anything else.
