Woopdy ****ing do....I would look into legal action. Maybe help Carroll with a lawsuit or file an assault charge. If a fan can be held to standards like that, why not a sideline coach just working.

Hey your opinion and I'm fine with it.
    Just not me.

Some things need direct intervention and that was one of them.

    Do something, anything.

I get you don't do something that gets you a unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty in a close game.

However, throw the challenge flag, force the refs over and insist they review it simply to bring attention that you know what happened and you're not going to let it go.

Maybe you leave it till after the game and address it man to man with Lard *** making it a point that you are severely displeased.
Something. Maybe Sporano did after the game at midfield. Didn't see it. If he didnt though personally I've lost respect for him.

Don't think he's trying to defend it. He's just saying that NFL workplace action is not enough.

I thought that exact same thing immediately after. All I could think is at worst this will amount to a fine, and that does not do this justice. The only fair thing is to allow Carroll to walk up to him, and get to take a free shot at the guy.

People like this take **** way too far. I hate the Jets with every fiber of my being, but I do not wish, and would not injure any of their players given the opportunity. These guys are people too, and suffer enough to give us some form of entertainment every week, without asshats like that making it worse.

    It's not challengeable.

Again? What do you want him to do?

You've told me about how you've lost repect for a man, but you've yet to tell me
how you would've done anything better than what Tony did.

This is why fans aren't HCs.

You know, the more I watch it, the more I agree with this. You watch the replay from the wide angle zoomed way out, you see the two jets players shove carroll out of bounds pretty much right as the play starts, right about in front of this group of guys lined up. Its really quite disturbing to think that players and coaches on the sidelines like this, can and would actually come up with such a plan to attempt to blatantly injure a guy running up the sidelines like that. Completely blindsiding him really. Honestly, coming from a team lead by Rex Ryan, Im really not surprised. He may have not been a part of this, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Even if he didn't directly have anything to do with it, indirectly he does by way of his leadership and attitude that he leads that team with.

They're quite lucky Carroll didn't blow out his knee as a result of this impact. Wow, can just imagine what the fallout of this would be then...

He should be fined. The good news about the win is that we won't have to listen to stupid posts from the stupid Jets fans.

Jets coaches were foot-to-foot, up against the sideline, and right against the edge of the box. It's obvious they were trying to create an obstruction. As bush league as it was, I think it would have been legal had they just stood there. They crossed the line from gamesmanship to douchbagship when the first guy extended his knee and the second guy dropped his shoulder. Only the Jets, man. WTF is it with this franchise? Scoreboard, *****es.

If they just stood there, it's one thing.

Dude stuck his knee out and extended his space. It's clear, dead bang.
    Everyone knows. He's done.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but the league should give us thier 1st draft pick for intentionaly trying to injure a player! No fines, firing, appologies, Straight Picks Homie! :-)

Being clasless is not a fireable offense.

What that guy did is reprehensable. Most Jets fans will even admit that.

If Ryan doesn't fire this guy, it will speak volumes about his character.

Seriously if the league doesn't fine the guy and suspend him from the sideline of the next game - it will be completely bogus.

    That is totally uncalled for.

One thing I love is that at least we did some damage to the Jets and hopefully they lose a few more. Regardless of what happens with the Dolphins - few things would be sweeter than to see the Jets lose three more games (or two more) and be knocked out of the playoffs.

So what did they do that was illegal? Stand where they were authorized to stand?

Use your head, not your heart.

The coach in question has stated he inteded to do what he did, and, it
was wrong. He'll suffer. He was wrong.

Im just not putting it past Ryan to have someone knee a player like that....which is why he had them escort the guy out after the game....do I have proof Ryan instigated it....nope...but it doesnt change my belief that he did.

You would never see Sparano have our coaches line up to do something like that at all...

They will not even miss the guy. He should be fired right now by the Jets. Their organization and head coach should be repremanded at the very least. These are things that should never ever happen and it takes away from the game that the players and fans love.

As much as I hate everything about the Jets, it would be nice to see their owner do something before the NFL does.
