Sorry BB, you know I've usually got your back, but if you were to write "irregardless" on a term paper or resume you'd get marked off in school and thought of as an idiot by HR and most likely wouldn't get the job. I could list a dozen words that are commonly used today that are not real words. The internet, texting, and a lazy/uneducated society has ruined the English language. Hell, just read through your own wiki link and you'd see that "irregardless" is not a real word.
When it goes missing just stay in the thread and refresh your browser. Even when we quote from another person, the post quick reply button is what most use. It clears the thanks button away for some reason.
ah.....HHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Now the jets and "small hands" Sanchez get to play at Pittsburgh and at Bears!!!!!!!!! 0-4 in December AHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAAAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
I mean, really? Yet, if i was some people, even on here, i should be cheering this because they arent my team.
This tripping thing. In close to 30 years of watching football, i've never seen anything like this. Its unreal. It will be underplayed, but this is a huge deal in my opinion. A total black eye for an already embarrassing franchise.
I don't think it will be underplayed. It's front page of Yahoo, being talked about way more than the Dolphins/Steelers game mishap on ESPN/NFLN, and is being called "Kneegate" in the media right now.
Tom Jackson said the Jets have lost their "swagger". What's with everybody and their swagger? Seems like everyone says that a team has it at one point. Screw the swagger, the Jets don't have a sense of urgency IMO. They do not look confident and they are showing it in their game plans. They have been out coached the last two weeks.
Indeed. If the jets can't beat us in their own house, they sure ain't gonna go on the road and beat Pittsburgh. After losing to Pitt, the whole thing will snowball. They'll travel to Chicago and play tight. It will be really cold. And as we've previously discussed in this thread, Mark Sanchez and his small, small hands don't like the cold so good. Then, they will finish the season hosting the Bills. They will have lost four in a row. The Bills will be hungry. The jet fans will be cynical and bitter. The whole thing will be gloriously delicious to watch unfold. HAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAAHHAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, if we head up to Foxboro with a chance to "win and you are in" I think this would be a heck of a season. As for the jets Sanchize was almost benched..again..
Bro, that's ALL the effin' NY media says. Steve Serby in the post even TODAY was talking about "swagger". Enough already with the effin' "swagger". And "Darrelle Revis" is "suspiciously" absent from this forum again.
per BSPN Jets RT Damien Woody is done for the year, which leaves the immortal Wayne Hunter at RT, this is the first major injury to a Jets Olineman in literal yrs, they had something like 60 consecutive games with their Starting Olinemen in the lineup. Well, well, well...
Funny thing is, he was not all that good to begin with, so let the Jets pin their defense on Manny Cook and James Ihedigbo..
Its like when someone says a player has the "it" factor. Its a bunch of non quantifiable bs basically.
They will be fine they have the luxury of having a Dustin Keller who is one of the best pass protectors in the league .
Did anyone seriously believe the Jets were a playooff worthy team? Needing miracles to beat such all world teams as the Lions, Browns, and Texans should of told everyone they're not.
They have settled in to their comfort zone. They got lucky with 2 teams resting players last year , won several games against not very good teams this year that they should have lost , and now been embarassed in 2 straight games. The swagger was false and built by ny friendly media and a coach that groused and made them appear bigger and better than they are. I hear Dennis Green bellowing somewhere ....
Mike Wallace's Christmas may come early this year, no real starting Safety, a Defense that relies on blitzes to produce pressure, and the game is in Pittsburgh.
Over the last 40 years the Jets have had the same number of coaches fired for tripping a player on the opposing team as they have Super Bowl wins. ----Lebatard HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
