So the defense needs to score for the offense now? :)

The 2 dropped pick 6's that I can recall right away that probably hurt us the most are the one late in the game against the Ravens, and the one against the Browns that never happened.

Coincidentally (or not) both were dropped by Sean Smith.

last year sean smith was getting burned left and right with no interceptions.
he has one pick this year, and knocked down atleast 6 passes in this last jets game.
instead of whining about him not hanging on to them. i commend his improvement.

Completely agree. Still not getting int's but he isnt getting burnt and is always in the right position. He should be very good in the future. Not to metion he seems to be a great tackler

his tackling has definitely gotten better. i remember him stuffing the run on the first play. in fact i think sean smith made atleast 2 of the 3 plays to stop the jets first possesion.

Most likely ya but you cannot blame the current record on the hands of the secondary. They have been great this year. The offense should take most of the blame.

    Well away from here
Or, that we simply drafted players who can't catch. Period.

Thats true. In the NFL nowadays you can be very successful if you capitalize off of turnovers. Hey, look at last year's Saints defense. Not great in the ppg or ypg category but made the key stop at the end of the game and forced a lot of turnovers.

    Slightly left of center
Maybe have someone follow them around 24 hrs a day throwing random surprise knuckle breakers at them.

OR...since we had that one karate dude come in to work with the linemen we could hire a ninja consultant to show them how to catch arrows.

OR... get Keaanu Reeves to teach them some of that matrix ish.

    OR...TRY SOME FREAKIN STIK-EM

By the way, I love the feed the cute little puppy sig, awesome brah.

His improvement is noticed but he SHOULD be catching some of those balls. To have both hands on the ball that many times and not intercept one is a lack of skill, judgement and ability. Those sort of dropped balls cost us momentum, field position and pts.

Funny you should mention that. That was exactly what I was thinking after he dropped the third or fourth potential pick last week (forget exactly which one, 'cause to be perfectly honest...I lost count). But yeah, I had flashbacks of the Raiders during their glory days when I thought about it.
