Ahh, like the Night Maneuvers in Basic Training, the march goes onwards: Gus Frerotte: 52% 3,000 yds, 18 Td's 13 int's 10 fumbles Chad Henne 62% 3,250 yds, 15 Td's 17 int's 2 fumbles Henne is slowly but surely closing the Frerotte Gap, 3 Td's away, surpassed him in yardage and completion percentage, downside is he surpassed him in Int's but NOT in total turnovers.
Oh no, see Stat Monkeys will tell you Stats are objective.. Better running game that season, Ronnie and RW were both young and fast, Henne is sort of a one man band out there. With Sunday's loss AFAIK Henne has moved to 7-6 as a starter this season, in 05 Frerotte was 8-7 as a starter.
People always say that and yet they never come up with a better way to judge a QB. So, if a QB goes 11 of 30 for 110 yards, 0 TD's and 3 INT's does that mean he played great? What about if a QB goes 22 of 23 for 350 yards, 4 TD's and 0 INT's? Bad day? Individual stats aren't 100% of the story, but if they are used correctly and over a long enough period they tell 95% of the story for the INDIVIDUAL player.
